My sister and I went on the McKinney Food Walk with Tall Paul on Saturday and had the BEST time!!! Paul is an incredible guide — so fun and kind, extremely knowledgeable on the history of TX and McKinney. Every restaurant he took us to was delicious and you can tell how much each of the restaurant owners/staff appreciate and respect Paul. He is truly the best!!! I highly recommend this tour — even if (especially if!!) you think you already know the McKinney Square!

Thanks "Tall Paul" you combined great local dining with local history. Tour took us to several locations where we had a dish and drink selected by Paul's wife (CEO and Chef). There are several types of tours, this food tour was awesome, I am sure the other option are too. My favorite was CT Provisions oysters and drink pairing. I learned about the city of Mckinney and all the things it is doing to be sustainable and inclusive. Definitely worth doing the tour if you are in the area.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday different this year so a group of us decided to do this food walk in downtown McKinney. What a great idea! Tall Paul was our tour guide. He told us so many historical stories. We learned a lot about the history of downtown Mckinney. I loved learning about the history of the buildings. It is crazy to think I was sitting in the same room where Jesse James once played poker! The food and drinks we tasted were amazing. I have lived in this area for over 40 years and went into places I’ve never been. I highly recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you Paul for being such a great guy. Thank you for your knowledge and for all the laughter. I highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I did an afternoon/evening tour with "Tall Paul", and it was fantastic in every way: we learned so much about places and people in downtown McKinney, and had both wonderful conversations and delicious food along the way. Tall Paul really makes you feel right at home - we highly recommend hanging out with him!

Tall Paul did a great job of interspersing interesting stories and history lessons of historic downtown McKinney. Not only was he full of information, he had clearly done his research and even had photos to share! I also appreciated the relationship our tour guide had with all of the local vendors. A great time was had by all!

On a warm July day, Tall Paul met us on the shady side of the square in McKinney and treated us to a fascinating afternoon of story telling and delicious food. His personable, friendly manner was only outdone by his knowledge of McKinney history. Learning about the current community projects such as sustainability and helping the town was great. At each stop we were greeted by friendly people and welcome samples of great food and drink. This tour was a real treat and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way to explore. My only advice is to not eat breakfast before you start the tour because the food provided is plentiful and tasty!

Tall Paul is kind and easy to be around. He is very knowledgeable of the history of McKinney also. To be honest it didn’t feel like we were on a tour. It’s like going with an old friend who knows everyone.
You get special treatment from the owners of the places he visits with you. You get smaller portions so you get to try a bunch of foods you wouldn’t otherwise get to try.
