Just spent 3 nights in the Hummingbird Cabin in Utopia. The location is great. The river is close with rope swings, two docks and a lovely swing to enjoy the view. The Sabinal is a cool and clear river. And the cabin was everything that Tracy said it would be. It was very clean, the towels were fluffy, the beds were soft and the Hummingbirds were very entertaining. There was a feeder hanging on the porch. It was fun to watch the birds as we rocked on the porch and drank our coffee in the morning. We visited Lost Maples state natural area and South Llano River state park. All the comforts of home with a well appointed kitchen and since we went in the summer, the A/C was very welcomed.

We stayed at the White Tail Cabin. The ranch is in a beautiful setting. We went tubing in the river and had fun on the rope swing. Our one year old Grandson loved the swing on the property. We watched lighting bugs at dusk and also saw deer at dusk roaming the property. Very relaxing spot. No hammock though. The pictures are a bit misleading of the cabin the pull out sofa and T.V. are in the same room as the beds. A little small but perfect for a family of four. Would definitely go back for the scenery. The check list with all its regulations is a bit overwhelming , but Tracy was very pleasant and easy to work with. The cleaning is not unreasonable do your dishes, strip the beds, and sweep. Hope to go back a visit soon

We had the most wonderful time at Rockin Utopia. The house was so spacious and the river was just a short walk behind the house. The river was perfect and beautiful. It was an amazing trip and I will cherish the memories forever. The home was just perfect for our family and the neighbors were so nice. I don’t think we could have found a better place. The back porch was big and perfect for us to hang out on in the evening and the bar b q pit was great. We will definitely be back.

We are going for our second trip to the WHITETAIL cabin which is ONE of the Clear Springs Lodging and Cabins offering. The cabin had modest furnishings when we visited. HOWEVER, the rural setting is perfect. The side porch is great! Best though? The rope swing right down front on the Sabinal River! The girls LOVED it, that's why mine wants to go back here rather than to the gritty sandy beach (thank God!). A short drive away is Garner State Park which is on the beautiful refreshing Frio River. Oh, my! Banderas (the Cowboy Capital) is also close. I kinda don't want to let people know about this place because it is a gem! (Shhhh!). Very rural, no traffic, beautiful high hills and interesting locations. There is also a bat cave close by! Check out local Lost Maple Café. There are plenty of local trail rides as well. Do as much as you like, or as little! I will update following or July 2017 visit!

We completely enjoyed the Humming Bird Haven. There is deep water there year round, (spring fed) The deer were everywhere. It was nice to watch them morning and evening. It is so quiet there, just what we needed to unwind and relax. I would recommend anyone to stay at Clear Springs Lodging properties. Tracy was very nice, it felt like talking to an old friend. We will definately come back ! Thanks a bunch !!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Utopia with Clear Springs Lodging. It was so very peaceful, comfortable and the atmosphere was serene, the perfect getaway! The cabin was well furnished, clean and housed my family very comfortably. We certainly hope to come back in the future.

My wife and I really enjoyed our recent stay in the Whitetail Spring cabin . It was a very nice and cozy cabin and the view of river and mountain from the patio was def AMAZING. The manager makes an effort to keep it a homey cozy place for the guests. And we are thankful for their provision for little things such as shampoo, cooking seasoning etc...many other things are great and thoughtful. we are already thinking about coming back in the summer. ::) I would recommend you to bring your firewood to set a bonfire next to the cabin.

Old Glory River Cabin was comfortable, could have slept a lot more people, and Clear Springs Lodging was a pleasure to do business with. Excellent location between Garner and Lost Maples parks, Hwy 337 is not to be missed, and the Sabinal River flowing through the property was a delight and far quieter than anywhere public. Will visit again.
