Great place with beautiful views! This is off the grid with comforts and lots to do! They provided bottled water and a nice continental breakfast! Met lots of great people and the laid back people that run the ranch! Next time we’ll bring extra water in gallons for in room coffee and refilling water bottles. Will also bring pre made meals for dinner that require little prep. It is nice to be back at the ranch by sunset to catch the great view over the fire pit and not having to drive down the unpaved road in the pitch dark!! We also felt like it was pretty close to the Terlingua ghost town area and the park entrance. We plan to go back!

I can not say enough great things about the Ranch, Cowboy and Sis. What a fun place to stay and the views were spectacular. We did not want to leave when it was time. We stayed in the Bath House. Having the pool in our room was so enjoyable after a day in the park. I have read tons of reviews and would like to comment on some of them. If you are expecting the Hilton, this is not your place. It is very rustic and kind of like fancy camping. You need to come prepared for all your needs. Cowboy and Sis do the best they can but cant do it all. Bring what you think you will need. Then bring more. The Cantina is great. We used it a couple of times but don't depend on it to have everything you might need. We needed a can opener one night. We could not find one in there but we brought our own. Although there are pans and things there, we brought our own. Our room had a coffee maker, some do not. Bring your own or go to the Cantina. There is a blow dryer for guest in Cantina but bring your own. Some rooms have wardrobes for clothes. Ours did not. We brought hooks that went over the doors and that worked fine. Bring those. We brought an extra set of sheets for the bed. You never know what might happen. Bring some just in case. They provided plenty of soap, shampoo and towels. If you need conditioner or other products, bring them. It was not a big deal for where you are getting to stay. If you forget something there are some small stores and a Dollar General. This again is a great place to stay just be prepared. We recommend it highly and would love to come back. If you don't want to cook there are several restaurants close by. They are not as far as some people were saying. I highly recommend Longhorn Restaurant. The young man in there was running it all by himself and doing a great job. The best food we had while there. Long Draw Pizza was also a great place to go. A little bit further away but worth the drive. Terlingua Ghost town was the best place for souvenirs. Hopefully I covered most questions that I originally had. Make sure you take time to sit and watch the stars and if you are lucky will spot the wildlife on the mountains outside your door like we did. We will never forget our stay at Ten Bits Ranch!

Ten Bits Ranch was an outstanding lodging experience in the greater Big Bend National Park area! My partner and I stayed for five nights in the “Bank Room” cabin which was very comfortably furnished with two beds each with a bedside table and individual reading lamps. Our first afternoon was warm enough to take advantage of the lovely porch and rocking chairs, along with exploring the hiking trail across from the property. We loved meeting and chatting with fellow travelers in the cantina, which was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. The dishwasher was a bonus! The location was excellent, about 40 minutes from the entrance to Big Bend and an hour from the visitors center at Panther Junction. The road into Ten Bits, while gravely, is very passable even in a low clearance compact car. The ranch provides ample bottled water for drinking and had plenty of pots and kettles to boil the tap water. Overall a fantastic stay, much better than the pricey domes/glamping in the area. We would absolutely come back to Ten Bits Ranch, bringing extended families, and recommend to all who are looking for comfortable, clean, welcoming accommodations in the Big Bend area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ten Bits Ranch, which boasts a delightful old Texas town atmosphere. The property manager provided clear instructions about both directions and check-in, making the arrival process seamless. My room was spacious, clean, and had a good shower facility. I especially loved having both a front and back porch—perfect for soaking up the scenic surroundings.

Because the ranch is virtually in the middle of nowhere, it’s a fantastic spot for stargazing. I would have extended my stay if rooms had been available. A nice feature is the shared kitchen, where you can prepare breakfast or cook meals if you’re planning a longer visit. All in all, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely choose Ten Bits Ranch again when visiting Big Bend National Park in the future.

The 2 mile gravel road in is a bit rough by car but if remote, quiet and private is what your expecting the location is perfect.!!! Cabins very comfy - cute!!! Great porch areas front and back with wonderful rockers and fire pit. Fabulous sunsets and sunrises. Great accommodations. No host on site but very receptive to phone calls. Bottled water stocked well!!

Breakfast selections sketchy plenty of coffee, juice, muffins and toast. 2 out of three days no bagels, breakfast bars yogurt Soap and shampoo in cabins very low quality.

Definitely will recommend ten bits to our friends who are planning a visit to the area in the near future.

We loved our stay at Ten Bits Ranch. Perfectly located close to Terlingua, but far enough to experience the immensity of the desert and scenery and beautiful night skies.||The setup is great with astutely decorated rustic old Texas style mini houses.||The shared Cantina is well equipped with ample shelf and fridge space, appliances including a quesadilla machine, oven, gas range and even a dishwasher.||We met wonderful travellers whom we invited back home to a visit and had the chance to briefly meet this lovely and cuddly bulldog in passing. Sis was super helpful and quick to answer our questions.||I would return in a heartbeat. Great base to explore Big Bend and experience rural Texas.

Visiting Big Bend National Park and couldn't get accommodation in the park itself so checked out a few places outside. We were intrigued by this one and decided to go ahead and book. It is a lovely place and concept! We stayed in the Pool House. As previous reviewers have said, once you are off the main road it's approximately 1.5 miles on a reasonably well maintained dirt road to get to the property so choose your vehicle wisely! The Pool House was lovely, very well maintained, huge double shower. Everything you needed was provided, including the most comfortable bed! Loved the pool, a really nice idea. The only minor point - it would have been helpful for somewhere to put away clothes or hang up. We ate in the Cantina a couple of times, there was always bagels available for breakfast, breakfast cereal, water, tea, coffee. We didn't use the facilities for an evening meal but the kitchen was very well stocked and ample room in the fridges if you wanted to pop to the local grocery store. The night sky was magical! Fit in time to sit outside and take it all in. It's about half hour from the entrance to the national park so factor that time in. But overall - if we could go back we would and would very much recommend this as a couples or family stay. Thank you Ten Bits!

I can't say enough great things about our stay at Ten Bits Ranch. We received great information from the owners leading up to our stay. The location is beautiful, remote, and quiet. Check-in was a breeze. The fully stocked Cantina makes it easy to make your own food. The hiking trail to the cave was fun, with a great view. What an absolute gem.
