He is very knowledgeable about Big Bend National Park, whether you have a question about its history, its geology, and/or its plants and animals, Chris has the answers! Best tour guide in the Big Bend area! His knowledge is first-rate. He deeply understand the wildlife, history and flora and fauna of the area. He is very personable and engaging which really helps to create a most enjoyable experience. He makes the tour memorable and interactive. Great location and tour company. I stayed at their site with Harvest Host for 4 nights and did two tours (OG Xperience and Big Bend National Park). I was impressed with how Chris makes his tour experiences personal and customizable. He's very interested in molding the tours to your particular interests, whether it be the geology, human history, plants, or anything else about the areas in or surrounding Big Bend National Park. He personable and tireless in his pursuits to transfer knowledge and help others. Very happy I stayed here. Thank you, Chris!

Chris provided excellent directions to his home and we found the driveway to be very level for our 26’ camper. We spent 2 quiet nights under the big, beautiful Big Bend sky.
Chris took us on a personalized six hour tour, including a hike and short walk. As others have said, he is extremely knowledgeable about the history, geology, archeology, flora and fauna of the park and sights to see in the surrounding area. We are glad we treated ourselves to this introduction to the beauty of Big Bend.
Highly recommended as a stop and tour.

What a beautiful experience Chris gave us. Meeting a beautiful human that helped us discover the marvels of Big Bend National Park, was an experience that we recommend. We had a wonderful tour of Big Bend National Park with Chris as our guide. He gave us a lot of relevant information about Big Bend National Park. Also, he answered all our questions with clear and easy to understand explanations. We especially enjoyed the two hiking trails, Santa Elena Canyon & Lower Burro Mesa. We were able to take as many pictures as we wanted because Chris would stop the vehicle for perfect shots. Overall, he was an excellent guide and attentive to our needs.

My 10-year-old grandson and I had a GREAT day touring Big Bend with Chris! He drove us down many dirt roads and across dry river beds that I would never have attempted in my rental car. Chris was very patient with our many questions, shared lots of knowledge, and wasn’t afraid to admit that he didn’t know about something on the rare occasion that he didn’t. Chris was very responsive mindful of our physical abilities and stopped many times for great photo ops. We took his advice and met early to start our time with him. Chris knew what he was talking about and our early start allowed us to hike the Santa Elena Canyon in the cool of the morning AND with very few other hikers, we had the place virtually to ourselves! It was a lovely experience and I highly recommend Chris as a tour guide!
