100% would recommend! When we first saw the pictures of Moss Ranch online we were certain that we had found the place. When we went there in person we could not have been happier. On the day of the wedding the venue looked exactly as we wanted, with Enchanted Rock in the background. It was perfect. We would not have changed a thing. Marla was an exceptional vendor to work with. She even has a collection of décor free to use that coordinates with various themes. She did all the set up of tables and everything that went with them. She made excellent recommendations for the caterer that helped us stay on budget and eat fantastic food. You can tell she knows the area well and wants to help in any way. She was most accommodating and it was better than we could have ever imagined for a great price!

I got married here 6.29.19 and everything was Absoloutly perfect. The place is georgous, and Marla the owner was amazing. She made sure all my questions were awnsered and was on hand to help with whatever was needed. She was so helpful through the whole wedding process. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Ill update this when i get pictures back, but I really couldnt imagine a more beautiful place to say I Do. 😍

My daughter and future son in law went and looked at this venue and chose it due to the location and size. They were very excited about having their wedding at this venue. After meeting with the venue owners with the wedding planner I quickly realized that the owners would be difficult to work with. Luckily we had a planner/coordinator and didn’t need the venue owners only the venue. We rented the venue for the entire weekend and the venue owners told us they would be “onsite” staying at their cabin if anything was needed. That was an understatement. Marla was onsite all day and night during set up and the wedding. She acted like security all night even though we hired security thru her. She was rude to our guests and overshadowed the entire event. The very worst part was after the wedding. My daughter and new son in law exhausted from their wedding day were ready for bed. They went to take a shower together and the water shut off. There was zero water in the venue. They had to rinse off with water bottles. Apparently there was some water well issues that she never mentioned. They had turned the water off on their guests.
A beautiful day and night was completely ruined due to a control freak venue owner and zero communication.
I too read some negative reviews but gave them the benefit of the doubt because some time had passed. She is still bad and doesn’t care. Steer clear from this venue. We will never be back.

I had the best experience with this venue from beginning to end. Marla, the owner, was quick to respond to all communication and offer suggested vendors as well as have a wide arrange of in house decorations. Not to mention the steal of a deal you get here!!
The venue is beautiful, and perfect for my already family of 4 with an available booking for all weekend. Makes it easy to not have to hustle through one day.
I’m still riding the high from such an amazing wedding at this location even with weather and other issues trying to bring me down. I can now for certain say it went exactly as planned and that’s largely part due to The Moss Ranch. Book this venue today!

The Moss Ranch at Enchanted Rock is an absolute diamond in the rough. This beautiful hidden venue had everything I needed, from gorgeous country views, to an elegant reception hall. It housed our 75 guests perfectly. The weather was beautiful on our wedding day(even for December) and we were able to house the ceremony outside and reception inside. It was perfect to be able to set up everything the day before, then have all day to relax and get ready for the wedding, and not have to pack up till the next day. Being able to stay here all weekend with family was a wonderful getaway. The price of this venue is an amazing deal and we are incredibly happy that we had our wedding here! Thank you Marla for your hospitality.

Not only is it an absolute BEAUTIFUL wedding venue, the owner Marla is amazing and super helpful. Marla will make sure to go above and beyond, gladly helping with ideas and even has decor to use if you’d like! I LOVE the fact that the venue has a groomsman suite and bridal suite for the wedding parties to stay in the night before the wedding, then it also has a couples suite for the bride and groom to stay in if they want the night of the wedding as well. Another favorite part of mine is the huge sliding glass door that opens up the dance floor area to the covered back porch.

I highly suggest and recommend checking out The Moss Ranch at Enchanted Oak, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

We had our in wedding in September. Marla, owner, was very accommodating allowing us to go out to the ranch several times prior to the event to help plan our wedding. She also had lots of decorations that we were able to choose from to help decorate the venue. Chairs, tables, and linens were also available that helped save us money.

This was the perfect setting for a hill country wedding with views of Enchanted Rock. There is a beautiful oak mot that was great for an outdoor ceremony. Venue was just right for the number we had in attendance. There are 3 separate rooms with over night accommodations that would allow the groom and/or bridal party to stay the night and plenty of room for the wedding party to get ready the day of the event.

One of the best parts and a huge deciding factor in choosing The Moss Ranch, was that we were able to have access to the venue and start decorating Friday afternoon and was able to finish cleaning up Sunday morning. We didn't feel rushed to setup and tear down the event.

The Moss Ranch is located within minutes of Enchanted Rock State Park and about 25 minutes outside of Fredericksburg in Llano County. This made it easy for our guests to make hotel reservations.

My fiancé and I just had our first tour of the venue and we already love everything about it, especially the owner Marla. We had been communicating with her for a few months since we live four hours away from the venue. She has made every step of our process stress free and one of the best parts of our wedding planning journey. I was curious about the cluster of negative reviews from a particular group of people on here and asked Marla about them. Marla was so transparent and had proof to back up her side of the situation and it is very sad she was painted in such a poor light on here. She is the sweetest person in the world and only has everyones safety in mind. So if you’re considering having your wedding here, disregard those negative reviews and come see the place, meet Marla, and make your own decision based on the facts. We can’t wait to get married here!
