This is a very clean and well maintained office, with knowledgeable staff and beautiful brochures on local and state travels. The restaurants around the town are all open. We will go back again for next blue bonnet festival.

Such a beautiful place in the spring when all the flowers are in bloom. We went to Brenham, the home of Blue Bell Ice Cream. We toured the facility and got ice cream of course. It's our favorite and the place was packed. So much fun for both adults and kids. The home made vanilla is the favorite of many people because it really does taste like homemade ice cream. All of their flavors are incredible also, always with real natural ingredients. Amazing how they always get it perfect. It might be a little more expensive than the others, but it is worth the extra cost because you get what you pay for. A quality product that takes time and care to get it right. One caution. Once you have Blue Bell, you can't go back to the others because it is that good. Even the texture is different. You have been warned.

We sadly missed the "peak" of the bluebonnets (how can one even predict that?), but the assistant at the Visitor's Center was so kind and pointed out more spots to visit that had a variety of wildflowers. We did see some beautiful bluebonnets during our drive on some county roads that we just decided to venture on and that made our trip even more fantastic. We love to get out and discover! Thank you for all of the pointers. We will be back to explore more. Thank you for the restaurant tips as well. LJ's hit the spot!

We stopped by the visitor's center on the afternoon of March 19th to ask about the best places to see blue bonnets. I'll have to say that we were all amazed that the woman behind the desk was ever given this job. I won't go so far as to say she was rude but close. She acted like we were bothering her and then gave us bad information. She told us that the blue bonnets weren't in bloom and that there really weren't any around any more. Luckily we ran in to two very nice ladies at the Blue Bell factory who gave us some leads. By the way, there were blue bonnets in several places.

Decent place, pretty town center, but the shops are mostly closed and there is very little see. Not because of the pandemic, there just wasnt much there.
