Christina was great! This is the first time my husband and I have ever used a travel agent, and it was a great experience! When we first started looking at all inclusive resorts for our honeymoon we were overwhelmed by all the options, Christina really helped us narrow down the resorts based off what we wanted our honeymoon to be like! She was mindful of our budget when sending recommendations, and really listened to our feedback to make sure we found the best spot! We ended up choosing Couples Negril in Jamaica, Christina kept us informed of the travel advisories and reassured us with any concerns we had. She texted us when we landed to check in and was always available when we needed her! The only issue we had was the flight times were weird, it seemed like we were always on the early side on the landing, and for our departure they moved up our flight and changed the flight number, but I honestly don't think that was Christina's fault, likely it was an American Airlines issue. But just a reminder to ALWAYS check your flight information 24 hours out!
But overall we had a wonderful experience and would definitely use Christina again!

The good: Christina did her best to help us work through the issues that came up during our trip. She was professional and kind.

The bad: The trip was poorly planned and messily executed.

Planning process: Christina was not available for much of the time and was out of pocket in Mexico while my friend and I tried to get the itinerary planned and wrapped up. We received a few invoices / itineraries that had incorrect flight details and hotel information that stated they were closed during the time she booked us. Our first “finalized” itinerary had a 9 hour travel day from Lake Como to the Amalfi coast, which my friend and I felt was costly and unnecessary given we only had a week in Italy. This was fixed and removed, Christina was surprised that the distance was so great. Our *final* and agreed itinerary was already ~$2k above the upper limit of our budget.

The trip: 2 days after we land, we received a text from Christina - “hope you had a safe flight, let me know if any issues getting to your hotel.” She had gotten our dates mixed up. Our itinerary had us set to go to Ischia > Bari > Amalfi Coast > Sorrento. Bari was an $800 car and 4 hours - my friend and I realized this last minute and began to make adjustments on the fly - it didn’t make sense for us to use 2 days of our trip zig zagging across the entire peninsula. Christina helps us book a new hotel in Amalfi town - after suggesting we go to Sorrento instead (given our itinerary already had Sorrento on it, we didn’t think this was efficient).

My friend and I dig into the itinerary that evening - the hotel that was booked for us during what was supposed to be our time in Sorrento, was in fact in Amalfi town. We contacted Christina to let her know of the error, and she tells us that we had signed off on that itinerary, and it was verbally discussed that we wouldn’t be going to Sorrento (of which my friend and I can’t recall, but regardless). We trusted Christina as the expert to plan our trip for the most efficient and relaxing time possible. It’s not the client’s job to fact check and make sure that each hotel is in the correct city, and yes, we signed off on the written agreement that stated we’d be in Sorrento.

Christina ultimately helps us book a new hotel in Sorrento for one final night, which is less than we had originally expected on the itinerary. She reimbursed us personally for the new hotel.

Finally, we’ve asked Christina for a fully itemized invoice for weeks now, and haven’t received it. We are way over budget (excluding my friend and I’s last minute changes.)
