We had a wonderful stay at serenity on the San Gabriel in Goregetown. The house was amazing, the pictures Don’t show how special this property really is, the back deck and fenced yard was a great place to relax and let the kids run wild. The kids had so much fun in the river, it was only 18” deep in the deepest spots so we did not worry about the small kids out there rowing up and down the river.
Kids loved the swing set and treehouse as well.

The kitchen connecting with the living room and family room makes this house feel so spacious.
We loved the book and games. Host was super responsive and helpful.

This was a great house with 4 adults and 5 kids (10-2years old) we had room for more comfortably. We will be looking up this house again on our next trip to Georgetown. 5 stars!

It was a great weekend to relax and your ocean front condo was the perfect place. Nice location, warm pool and hot tub. Also there are 2 pools. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels. Well decorated. Only one fault to be found and that is a personal preference, the pillows were not comfortable according to my husband. I always bring my own but he didn’t. Would stay again.

We loved this place! Great beach view and the owners thought of EVERYTHING. This condo is on the smaller side but packed with character and met all our needs. My husband and I stayed 3 nights with our 9 year old. The bottom bunk has its own tv! ❤️

The condo was lovely, spacious, and well maintained. The owners have fully stocked the kitchen with cooking items, there are tennis rackets and balls, a volleyball, and beach towels for enjoying on site activities. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were decorated well. The bathrooms were stocked with towels, a blow dryer, and each shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. We loved the open layout and the owner even had a variety of cards and board games to choose from. The view from the patio was superb, you get great lake and pool views. We enjoyed the gym on property as well. There are plenty of deer on the grounds and they love to be fed!! We had so much fun feeding them. We grabbed deer corn at the grocery store and the deer would eat out of our hands. We loved our stay on the Island!! This was not our first trip and definitely will not be the last!!

We stayed at the Birds of Paradise home in Georgetown, TX, and everything was fantastic! The home was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. A Stay Above The Rest made the stay smooth and easy! Checkin, checkout, and communication was seamless. We would definitely recommend them and would stay again! Thanks for a great trip!

We stayed at the retreat on San Gabriel in Georgetown, TX. I know I won’t be able to put into words fully how great this property is, but I will try. We stayed here for a family reunion with 10 total adults, and two toddlers. It was magical here. It was so spacious, clean, well decorated, and homey. Everyone kept going on and on about how wonderful and comfortable everything was. It seemed like they had thought everything out that we would possibly need. There were toys for the kids, anything you would need to cook a big meal in the kitchen, comfortable, seating arrangements, laundry detergent, plenty of towels, plenty of pillows, etc.! we loved sitting outside on the patio and watching the deer and listening to the wildlife from the river. My kids love to walk down to the river and see the fish and the turtles. The neighborhood is so wonderful and safe. We loved going on, walks down the trail, and even just in the neighborhood. Not only that, but there is so much convenience right next to the house. You’re only about five minutes from an H-E-B and lots of restaurants to choose from. We had such a wonderful weekend, and I know that it was mostly due to this house!

I had an amazing experience in one of their Galveston units. The view was absolutely AMAZING!! The unit was very clean and well decorated. It looked exactly like the pictures. No detail was forgotten. I most certainly will be booking with them again. Communication is great!
