Everything about the cabin was great except 1 thing which is the only reason we gave it a 4 instead of a 5+ . It was the water pressure. The pressure was so low it wouldn't even cut the shower on, it literally took 15 -20 to run a tub of water for a bath. This cabin has a great front and back porch, excellent hot tub. We saw deer in the front of the cabin 3 of the 4 days we were there. Completely Secluded. Short drive to town. Definitely would recommend this place. We've rented for HCPL several times and have always had a great experience when using them to find the perfect place.

Tangled Oaks Guest House was easily the nicest short-term rental we’ve ever visited. The high quality furnishings and finishes alone were wonderful and made the stay so comfortable (a selection of knives that were actually sharp? Amazing! More than enough coffee and all the basic spices? Incredible!). It was the unmatched location and surroundings that put it over the top though—an easy trip to town and activities, but it felt so remote and relaxing. We spent ample time in the hot tub, topped only by enjoying the unforgettable experience of watching grazing longhorns from the deck. The cherry on top was the personalized greeting when we arrived—such a nice touch. I was raving about this place to friends before we ever left it—I would stay there again and again and tell everyone I know to as well.

The property is exactly as described in its listing, as well as the photos. Its quiet and serene. I also picked this site because it had a hot tub to the side of the covered deck. During the day, if its hot, you can adjust to a cooler water temperature and as evening sets, warm it up. The kitchen was well supplied , furniture was comfortable and WIFI worked. Property management was professional and helpful

Hill Country Premier Lodging has outdone itself. We stayed in a beautiful cabin. Everyone in our large group had plenty of space to rest, relax, and enjoy this amazing property. It seems as though you are far away for civilization when the bulls and cows come grazing by in the early morning. The views are spectacular but the property is very close to downtown San Marcos. I highly recommend and will be coming back. 💜💜💜🐄🤠💜💜💜

We love this cabin. The property is gorgeous and secluded, no main home anywhere near the cabin. The hot tub is spectacular, the place is spotlessly clean, love being able to charge our EV on site. The place is big enough for two couples with two bedrooms, laundry etc. we’ve been twice and will continue to book here on our future Winberly area trips.

Super cute! So cute that everyone stops to check it out. For the most part it is fine, but I love natural light and didn’t feel like I could keep the shades open with people around all the time. I even had a gentleman try to peek up over the fence with his phone to check out the backyard. A QRG out front might eliminate such peeking- just a thought

The cabin was very comfortable and attractive. The recycled wood and stone were nice details.
You had to look really hard to find any scratches, and I found only one. The porch view was exceptional.

This is our new favorite cabin in Wimberley. The view is amazing for morning coffee and romantic sunsets. A couple of hiccups but were corrected within the hour of notifying HCPL. Will definitely rent again.
