The ONLY plus is that the room was smoking friendly. That’s it.

The chain on the door was broken. One of the beds had a lamp on it, which left a greasy stain. The ac barely worked, the room was hot when we checked in. The carpet was FILTHY. Most importantly, the smoke detector was MISSING. I mentioned it to staff, and was told it was a maintenance issue. I told them, it’s fire code. They did not bring one.

The price definitely reflects the disrepair, so be wary of cheap rooms.

The place has its flaws and was $100 + tax on this Scotsfest weekend. The people are great but the room had some minor flaws, none of which were dangerous. No fan working in the bathroom. No roll for hanging the toilet paper and it was left on the back of the commode. Repairs need painted. One of the towels was still damp when put in the bathroom folded up. Huge stain on carpet next to the bed. No chair for the desk and have to unplug the lamp to use the coffee maker. Fridge was great and microwave was good. No battery in the smoke detector. Lid to air contrs was btokenoff. Bed was comfortable. Air worked. Glad to have a place to sleep that my dog was welcome.

Stayed at this place and we encountered roaches in our room. They were crawling on the walls, curtain and in the restroom. When I informed the front desk, the gentleman stated that they would address the issue the next day. I then asked to speak to the manager and the front desk told me that the manager didn’t want to speak to me. This was definitely a bad experience and the hotel was horrible.

Worst room and worst hotel I’ve ever seen. We refused to stay even though it was the only place in town where we could have our dog with us. Many safety problems. Safety lock on the room door was a simple flimsy chain lock. The security fire door has a broken lock so the desk staff tell you to prop it open when you take the dog out which makes the whole building unsafe because anyone can come right in and in fires it is dangerous. Room smells of chemicals. Carpet stained. Bedskirt had white stains on it that I leave to your imagination as to what that was. Windows so dirty that a gigantic spider web was on the exterior filled with bugs. We said heck no were outta here but desk refused to refund us. Even though they refused to refund we left immediately. Hallway lighting on second floor was so dim that anything could be hiding in the shadows. We drove to another town and never again reserved a super 8 room . I had to shower as soon as we got to another hotel that night because just being in that hotel felt so awful. Needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Don’t make reservations here!!!!! A tent would be safer.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Moldy wet carpet in one room, locks are purposely removed. got moved to another room with an ac unit that was blowing mold. Staff refused to clean it
I purchased mold cleaner to clean the ac myself. This new room was also conveniently missing a lock. Many health and safety violations in this place. Avoid at all costs

$85 per night for 2 full size beds. No pool, free breakfast, friendly staff. Smoking and non-smoking rooms. The room was missing the smoke detector and people were barbecuing less than 10 feet from the building. People hanging out at the only entrance all night long.

I can see how certain people would turned off by how outdated/worn out some of the amenities are, but the beds were clean , the AC worked, and water was hot, so it was everything we needed. The location is perfect and the staff is fantastic
