The Departure Lounge at Austin Airport is great to relax and that’s it. The chairs have needed replacing forever and the service is terrible. If you want to be ignored as a customer this is your place!!

What an amazing trip we had! The thought and planning Ginger Nelson put in made it so. From flights, to accommodations, to activities, she made it seem so easy. Her helpful, smiling attitude was so refreshing. We asked questions and she was spot on answering promptly and helping us make the best decisions. While on the trip, Ginger checked in with us several times to see how we were doing and if things were going well.

Would HIGHLY recommend having Ginger Nelson organize your next trip. We certainly plan to!

One of the few wine bars that are on the west side of downtown. We came here for happy hour after work on Thursday. They had a great selection of wines for a flight and an amazing cheese plate. If you're looking for something low-key to do on a Friday -they are hosting a classic film night (don't recommend going if you're looking for something more lively). I was afraid they would be forcing me to book travel, but both times I've been were an amazing time with friends without any discussion of booking a trip with them.

This is a upscale downtown coffee/wine bar. When you walk it is bright, open and welcoming. It is the type of place you can bring a client or if you dressed up etc nice place to take a date for a glass of wine.
The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
The wine is pretty unique too. Not something you are going to find at the local HEB etc. When I am downtown I like to go here. It is not as loud and crazy. I can get a nice coffee and sit and feel relaxed.

My partner and I were visiting his family and we always wanted to go and experience an evening at Departure Lounge. From the moment we stepped out of the elevator on the 15th floor our evening began with the great decor and the warm welcome from the staff. We got our cocktails and stepped out on the patio and enjoyed the skyline of the city. There were eight in our party and we had a Beautiful booth. We decided to just get small plates (a lot) and every plate was just an unbelievable experience from presentation to taste. The service was also excellent. Big shout out to the chef, amazing!!!!!

If you're considering Departure Lounge for care and concern of the individual, I would look elsewhere for a boutique travel arrangement. They do not care about their customers, only profit. We cancelled our trip about 3+months out due to finding out that my wife was pregnant. Upon notification the only relay they had was about their nonrefundable cancellation policy.

This is a pathetic response without solution. At three+ months away, any reservation should be easily refundable and this is either a sign that they are selfish or don't have appropriate agreements to serve their customers 🤷 Departure Lounge had not even a solution for rolling forward credit or finding a replacement traveler. Consider yourself warned.

This was only the last week and a half of our month and a half trip to Europe. Everyone else 100% refunded our money, and went above and beyond expectations. Now, I could see if this trip were within a month, but this happened last month and we are still 2 months away from the trip. Go elsewhere.

They helped me and my family plan our next vacation and everything was very smooth. I definitely recommend them to our friends and family are the trips that require a little bit more coordination and experience from a trusted friend is helpful.
