I absolutely loved my time at HHS. I was privileged enough to work as an assistant director. I feel the training was through and well done. The chain of command is structured well and has responsive communication. There is a clear path to promotions that is open to the cleaning staff as well. I had some issues but, I believe that has more to do with the small town I live in than the company itself. All together, I enjoyed my time and would love to return to HHS. I would 100% encourage anyone considering this company to apply.

This is THE WORST PLACE I HAVE WORKED!! Management rides around in their personal vehicles during the day on the clock drinking alcohol. Go to lunch on the clock while the staff members don’t get a break for lunch they tell you just find time in between your rooms to eat 🤣🤣🤷🏽‍♀️ they disappear for hours and when they reappear just have the work done. As an inspector and one Of the housekeepers doesn’t change the sheets on the beds just overlook it or if it’s bad enough fix it yourselves, definitely don’t call them back to do their job because you’re now wrong and are getting wrote up for disrespecting authority. That’s just the beginning.

BEWARE!!!!! I have worked hard long 12 hour shifts for this company in dietary for over six months and it is literally the most unorganized, unprofessional, understaffed company I have ever worked for in my life I would not refer a dog or cat to work for them! They do not care about their workers at all! I fell out in the kitchen had multiple seizures and was hospitalized at memorial regional hospital for 3 days when I woke up my eye was swollen black and blue with a burst blood vessel because come to find out I had fallen into one of the metal dietary carts. While hospitalized I didn’t receive a card, flowers, phone call nothing from management at all I felt like me or my life did not matter!!! There was no protocol or plan for such an emergency, if it was not for my Co-worker swinging the kitchen door open and yelling for help I could possibly be dead, the director of the kitchen even refused to see me to a hospital bed the chef had to tell her that she had to walk with me. Even though I registered an emergency contact upon being hired there my co workers had to reach out to my friend whom also works there with me to ask her for my password to my personal device so that they could call my mom!! I reached out to the vice president with my concerns and was rushed off the phone barely listened to,I had to call him to be heard even after I sent a detailed email of what happened he didn’t have the decency to contact me I had to call him! I’m not a person with a history of epilepsy or seizures so you could imagine how scared I was and this is how it was handled! I could write more but Iam gonna end it here! So many companies get away with things like this and because we need to work to live some of us are forced to still work for these companies! I PRAY GOD ALLOWS THE RIGHT PERSON TO SEE THIS REVIEW! Something has to be done about this circus and the clowns running it!

HHS was an educational experience. They have strong leadership training for managers. The work is challenging with a day to day of “putting out fires”. I learned a lot and worked with some great people. It does not have competitive compensation, but there’s a lot of opportunity for job security and promotion if you are willing to relocate. The culture can feel chaotic and inconsistent. After a couple unprofessional experiences with Upper Management and Corporate Headquarters, I ultimately turned down a promotion for another employer opportunity. The choice to leave was wise, but I did learn a lot of leadership and professional skills at HHS.

I had a negative issue involving an issue with a fellow employee. My concerns were addressed and turned around by my Director to a positive out come!
I don't want mention names. I want to say thank you to my director for listening to my concern and correcting it in a professional and caring way!

All one star reviews say it all!! I am a former employee myself, and they are not lying. If you were to tell me that HHS1 was a janitorial service, I would not be able to believe you. This company should NOT be contracted to clean anything. If this is a janitorial service, then I’m Ghandi!! Not enough space to explain how company is ran by careless, uninformed, incompetent people. Local hospital is a dirty mess, and I now see why people get staphylococcus infections at hospitals “managed” by said company.
