Our first visit & wow, so glad we chose this restaurant! The atmosphere was amazing, the food *chefs kiss* 🤌🏻 (asparagus could use a little more cooking/seasoning BUT still so very good), and the service was excellent!! Every single lady was so kind, so helpful, and made the time there better! I loved that even the manager was so attentive & thoughtful, but our waitress (she’ll know who she is, as she took our picture & I unfortunately didn’t catch her name) but she was so polite, fun, and wonderful! She made our night better & the food being delicious was just the cherry on top! Highly recommend this restaurant, 10/10. We will definitely be back, think we found a nice little date night spot when we’re in the area!! ((Also I wish I had more of their spinach artichoke dip & salsa!! So good!)

The food was excellent and abundant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were greeted by the manager who gave us a little history of the place. During good weather they open the doors for concerts but for the breakfast the music was subtle and it was great for conversation. The place is ADA compliant and both bathrooms are easily accessible.

What a great find! Had brunch on a Sunday on our way back home to the Houston area. Great food, fantastic staff. The owner spoke with us for quite a while. She knows her clientele and immediately asked us if this was our first time visiting. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the Hill Country area. There’s a very nice deck area and doggies are welcome.

Came here with the family. Food was the tastiest I've had in a while. I had the Patty melt and my son had the Shrimp lunch. My wife ordered the burger but I didn't get a picture of it. The service was way above average. The atmosphere was perfect. It was pretty busy while we were there but it wasn't so loud it became unenjoyable. All around was definitely a 5 star experience.

This place is a little gem with great choices on the menu and an ambiance that is perfect for eating outside at the river! Our food was great, but our service was sub par. We had to ask our server for silverware twice and for rolls which every other table already had. I recommend making reservations on the weekend. They get real busy!

We arrived and there was no parking so we were expecting a wait. We walked in and were sat right away in a community style sitting area. Ordered an appetizer of the chips and brisket queso which was really good and had chunks of brisket in it with a smokey flavor. My husband ordered the bacon & blue cheese burger and his only complaint was the lack of blue cheese. There was hardly any in it. I ordered their "famous" shrimp pasta dish, and let me tell you when I bit into the shrimp it tasted like I was biting into a stick of butter and that's not in a bad way. The shrimp were so crispy and buttery and the pasta was tender and the sauce was amazing. The only reason for not five stars on the service side of things was due to the service being a bit slow, and we did have to wait for refills on our tea. But other than that everything was amazing. We definitely recommend this place and we'll be back the next time we are driving through the blanco area.

If you're craving classic comfort food, The Bistro is the place to go. The menu leans heavily on hot sandwiches and fried foods. The portions are generous, and in the case of the chicken fried pork, the entree is shareable. Overall presentation and flavor are good, and the friendly service helps with the casual vibe the eatery is going for. Cheers!

Wow! What a wonderful surprise. Tucked away by the river, this place has a varied menu, I had the shrimp and pasta dish; large shrimp, ample portion. My son had the combo meat sandwich; looked delicious and he gave it a 2 thumbs up. We will be back to try other dishes or sandwiches which are worthy a try.
