This place is awesome!! This is a museum! It was so fun to explore the grounds and all the hallways! If you love unique, you must stay here if you have a day or two to stay in Winslow AZ! I have ZERO regrets staying here! The lobby is so fun to browse (and BUY!!) and The Turquoise Room food and drinks were well worth every penny! Lastly, the staff were wonderful!

La Posada is a dream come true for history buffs. Several large rooms are dedicated to Fred Harvey, hospitality entrepreneur, the Harvey girls who helped him, and gorgeous antiques.
The gift shop, where guests also check in, is full of treasures, some so unique that they cannot be purchased anywhere else.
The rooms are generously sized. Our bathroom had a step up, which at first concerned us (? a fall in the middle of the night) but we figured out a way to deal with that.
And the gardens!! We did not have enough time there! Stay an extra day if you are a gardener.
Finally, the restaurant, The Turquoise Room: Don't bother going anywhere else to eat. This place beats everything else by several stars. You won't need a microwave.
I highly recommend La Posada Hotel to anyone who wants to be pampered while getting a good dose of our amazing American history.

This was my first trip to La Posada, I came with a friend. What a wonderful experience we had. Loved the sounds of trains rolling by.
The restaurant was outstanding in ambience and the food was absolutely delicious. As an artist I was so impressed with the presentation. The chef put together things I would’ve never thought of and it was absolutely delicious.
The room was cozy and comfortable and very clean.
Thank you for giving us a delightful experience in the beautiful La posada.

Great experience! The rooms are all super quaint and relaxing. Staff are wonderful, fabulous, I mean fabulous restraunt on site.
It's a quirky hotel and beyond cool. Watching the trains was a plus, and before it matters, you do not hear them all night long.
Planning on coming back. Thanks for the great stay.

We enjoyed everything about this stay! (The only thing was we couldn’t get a king bed and the room we got was very small) The hotel was remarkable and the staff (especially the front desk staff -male, and the gardener -tall female) were very friendly and stood out. We thoroughly enjoyed all the decor and history. Khent, the guitarist, was great and made the stay more memorable.

What a lovely hotel! It was my favorite place to stay on our driving trip from Chicago to Santa Monica on Route 66. We stayed on a king sized suite and it was beautiful. The jacuzzi tub was gigantic and the bathroom was beautifully tiled. The bed was super comfy and the room was very quiet even though it is near the rail road tracks. The hotel is very eclectic with beautiful one of a kind artwork throughout. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food and service were top notch. The hotel is located right downtown Winslow, Arizona and it is a very cute, fun town to visit. We were there during an old hot rod car show and it was great to be able to walk to everything. This is a wonderful place to eat, stay and catch the Amtrak train. Such a cool place and definitely one of a kind!

Step back in time to this older hotel where an actual key unlocks your room. Comfortable and historic, this place does not disappoint. Fabulous gift shop and artwork. Excellent restaurant with lots of food choices. If you have trouble with the stairs ask for a downstairs room.

What a wonderful place to stay! The employees we interacted with were all friendly, competent and knew the history behind the hotel. The room was beautiful, clean and every thing worked. The restaurant, Turquoise Room, was five star all the way. The museum and art displayed in the building are worth a trip to Winslow. The famous ‘standing on a corner’ location is just a short (two blocks) walk away. Painted Desert and Petrified Forest NPs are only about an hour drive away. |Every corner of the hotel has something that you’ll want to take a picture of.
