A very nice and interesting State Park. We visited the sites Homolovi I and II. Not so much you can see but a great place for your imagination how hard life was in this rural area a couple of hundred years ago. I recommend going to the visitor center prior to self-exploring the sites. Carry plenty of water as it gets very hot during the summer months.

Loved it here! So peaceful. The sites are spacious, and there's a good amount of room between neighbors. The park ranger was very friendly. I didn't use the restrooms, but the grounds were spotless clean.

Very nice Campground. The only downside is that there is only one shower for all the sites. Women toilet doors are not locking, and garbage bin are far from the sites, at the entrance of the Campground.

We visited Homolovi II site, nice short walk, with the remains of a huge village. Lots of visible artifacts of pottery along the path.

A nice peaceful park 20 minutes from downtown Winslow. Open spaces, pretty views. Checkin in the visitor's center was perfunctory, attendant not friendly but no issues checking in. The site was clean and neat, hook ups all good. No site sewer, one dump station that gets a line in the morning. Good AT&T signal. Very slight noise from the distant interstate 40. Restrooms are basic and clean.

This is a very nice campground outside of Winslow, AZ. The sites are spacious and there are water and electric hookups at most sites. Other than the campground, the only other thing at the state park are two Ancient Puebloan villages that you can walk around. These are very interesting and there is a ton of beautiful pottery shards littering the ground at both villages, Homolovi I and Homolovi II. Don't pick up any artifacts! We even some wild donkeys on our way to the ruins.

The only thing stopping me from giving them 5 stars is that the area is really (REALLY) windy (not their fault) and there was a urinal in the bathroom that was out of order and really (REALLY) gross that should have been fixed during the five days that we stayed there.

It is a serene beautiful tranquil State Park in what used to be a Hopi town. A must visit for camping, hiking and visiting the town ruins.

$7 for admission. There's a small observatory near the visitor center.

There are a few small trails to hike. One takes you to sunrise cemetery. A couple of others take you to pueblos.

There's a camping area as well. Nice park. I enjoyed my time there.

I had read about this park so we decided to go visit. It is a small park in that there are 2 locations you can go to. They are ruins, so don't plan on seeing buildings. You will see the size of where the Hopi were living, and in site 1, you will see a lot of artifacts. The artifacts were fantastic to see on the ground, on rocks, on the wall. I'm impressed that people are actually respecting the land and leaving the artifacts alone. Thank you, everyone! There is also a campground here, and we drove through to check it out for a future stop. It is really nice. We did go hike and see some petroglyph. This was a great stop.
