Giving 5 stars because this is a non profit run by volunteers. Hard to find and even when you do it's hard to tell if they are open. Little historical museum with displays about town, railroad, old west, native Americans and more. Worth a stop. It's free but please make donation.

I stumbled upon this museum by chance, and upon entering, I was amazed by the artifacts from previous generations. It's truly fascinating. Another thing I'd like everyone to experience here is the connection to our ancient roots. She's a local who's been here since birth, and I wish everyone who visits Winslow would take the time to explore its historical museum and greet her.

The best part of my trip to Winslow was getting a tour in this museum. Standing on the corner was awesome, but the guide we had knew so much about everything on display, the history of the town, and really took the time to tell us everything. She was such a sweetheart. I definitely recommend having her as your guide through the museum.

+JMJ ... Very interesting shop with Winslow memorabilia. A friend's sister donated her husband's lettered school sweater to the museum.

Nice smaller museum. It was well arranged and displayed. Because of Covid we had to call ahead to reserve our time to visit. It takes about an hour, but really gives you a good sense of the history of Winslow. The lady operating it was very informative and helpful. It's a free museum, but they take donations ($5 per couple suggested). I highly suggest you take the time to visit.
