We LOVE working with Spaces in the City!
Whenever we did a photo shoot for some of the restaurants or a wedding at one of the venues, we always find it very easy to work with the planning team. All the employees are always friendly and helpful.
We built some good connections here.
Wedding venues like The Press Room, Jackson Terminal are absolutely incredible, beautiful and one of a kind in Knoxville and in whole of East TN!

I can’t recommend Spaces in the City enough! They offer two incredible wedding venues—The Press Room and Jackson Terminal—that are absolutely stunning and perfect for any couple’s big day. Their catering service, City Catering, is phenomenal, with delicious food that left all of our guests raving. The drinks and bar services are also top-notch, and their mobile bar, Absinthe Minded, is such a fun and unique touch for any event.

Working with Demi and his team has been an absolute joy. I also must give a special shout out to their lead wedding coordinator, Emma, who is always making all the wedding day dreams come true! The whole group is professional, kind, and truly go above and beyond to make everything seamless and stress-free. I even had City Catering cater an event at my house recently, and it was flawless—every bite was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful.

If you’re planning a wedding or special event, Spaces in the City is hands down the best choice for your venue, catering, or bar. And if you just want a night out on the town, I highly recommend their restaurants as well: Kefi, Vida, and The Vault. You’ll be in great hands with their amazing team!

Whether planning a wedding, company event or even just a party, Demi (the owner) and his team provides an amazing experience that is professional, efficient and tailored for every customers needs. With every dessert delivery we have done for Spaces in the City, we are always impressed with space, set up, and their Spaces in the City catering. We always recommend their catering to all of our clients because of their quality and fresh food!

In addition to Demi, working with Hensley (executive administrator), Kelsey (wedding specialist), and Emma (day of coordinator) has been a pleasure as well! They all help curate the experience with their knowledge and professionalism. I am always confident they can answer my questions and ensure that my desserts are where they need to be. The biggest bonus for me is that they are all truly kind and want to help!

Spaces in the City has so many top-notch businesses in the Knoxville Area. The restaurants are upscale with high quality, unique menu options, perfect for a date night or celebrations.
The City Catering division does a great job with catering events of any scale with great menu options and the venues, The Press Room, The Square Room and Jackson Terminal are perfect for hosting any type of special event or wedding. Highly recommended using them for any event you are planning.

Poor communication throughout the wedding planning process - be ready to call multiple times to get a response only when you escalate your frustrations. Our contract included a $1300 service fee that clearly states it is for gratuity. I was informed after the event that this fee does not actually go towards tipping the workers of your event, so they hid a random 20% fee and disguised it as a tip when it is not. The servers and bartenders who worked our event were amazing and I’m sad their $1300 tip wasn’t given to them.
