The room was only ok. Area around the building not good. Looks like they were remodeling and just got tired of cleaning up so they left it. There's furnishings and such just sitting in the hallways area close to the elevator. Looks tacky. At no point in time should this place claim to have continental breakfast! There was 2 cereals, milk apples and bananas. That was it. Quite the joke. Completely out of the "main" area. Would not stay here again.

My thoughts on this hotel is GREAT. The staff is professional and nice. Rooms are big and CLEAN. This my second time being here and I love everything about it. I advise a visit from everyone so that you can experience the same as I.

I stayed here to be centrally located to visit my family members. My room was very clean and quiet and the mattress was very comfortable. I like that the floors throughout the building, including my room, are Not carpet.
They are renovating, but this didn't effect my stay.
The saltwater pool was clean, a nice temp that was easy to get used to, and my skin felt great after a swim.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
I don't eat breakfast that early so I can't give a rating on that. Perhaps increase the breakfast hours to a 10:00am stop time like most other hotels I've stayed. That being said, they do have vending machines with reasonable prices.
The location is very convenient and I like that it is about 1/4 mile off the main highway so there's no highway noise. I felt very safe here even though I was traveling alone.
I will definitely stay there again.

This was our third or fourth time to stay at the Grand Vista (which really has only a view of trees on one side and the parking lot on the other!). Since 2023, the rooms have been redecorated. The 1980s border wallpaper is gone and replaced with fresh white paint, new light fixtures, new window coverings, new toilet, new or refurbished bathtub. The work is meticulous! |Carpet is gone and replaced with luxury vinyl tile (I think). As always, the room was spotlessly clean. Our room was set up as a handicap-accessible room, with a lowered peephole in the door, taller toilet, tub with optional seat, plenty of grab bars around toilet and tub, and a hand-held adjustable spray in tub. However, the bed was set up extremely high. Someone in a wheelchair would have no hope of easily transferring from chair to the bed. I brought a small step-stool; otherwise, I would have had t o take a running start and leap up to the bed.|A few other drawbacks: one of the bedside lights in our room was not working (as were the charging and electrical outlets build into the light - room 114). The furniture has NOT been replaced and it is a bit worn looking. The refrigerator had several dents, but it still kept food frosty cold. We had two upholstered chairs in our room which we really appeciated, but they were old and a bit threadbare. The air conditioner worked very, very well. |We hope to return next year!

Positive: Quiet, clean and they are updating. I believe my room was nicer than the one last year, same time frame. Negative: The new room fan was very loud. A new unit like that should have been quieter; turned it off to sleep. Breakfast was as minimal as possible. And like last year, the woman (owner?) is not social at all. Smile!!

Hotel is being renovated and we were in a newly refurbished room. Fridge wasn't working but I didn't go ask for help because we didn't need it anyway. Microwave was working. We didn't get to the pool but it looked nice! The room was extremely clean. Breakfast was bread for toast, cereal, bags of cookies, chocolate chip muffin, and there was an apple. Really super firm mattresses. Extremely friendly staff. And they sell beer and sodas and snacks in the lobby shop. I'd stay here again.
