I am a traveling musician and I chose this hotel due to the location between Nashville and my ultimate destination. The room and the hotel were totally fine for the price. What was not fine is the horrible customer service and downright hostility from the front desk clerk on duty at 10/26/24 at 11:45PM and then again at 3AM on 10/27.

He asked me if I traveled a lot, I guess because I had a flight case for a violin on a strap around my shoulder. When I told him that I traveled a lot and that I would probably be going to California next week, he started an all out tirade against California and Californians, despite him admitting to me and to my girlfriend later that he’s never been to California. Am I crazy or as a front desk clerk at a motel, shouldn’t he be kinda nice to everybody from every state? Oh well, it doesn’t really matter. I got a refund and left. I’m never staying here again and I will make sure to recommend that every musician I know in Tennessee and Internationally to stay somewhere else in Harriman or just head on to Knoxville. I hope someday that dude actually gets to visit California.

**ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH WE STILL HAVENT GOT OUR REFUND**

Came to town for the Renaissance Faire so we needed a place to stay, ended up picking this motel. Checked in and went to our room. There were stains on the curtains, lampshade, sheets and pillows. I always check for bedbugs whenever I go into a place before I do anything. The mattress was covered in black spots from the bugs and I ended up finding a live bug hidden on the mattress. Was able to get a refund but had to find another place to stay. Only gave 2 stars because the staff was so sweet.

Booked on Hotels.com and when I arrived, around 1a.m. there was no lobby or check in area. No signage anywhere to indicate where to check in. Attempted to call hotel and the phone number is in California. Waited 30mins on hold and no one answered. Called back 3 times and was never able to connect to local hotel. Was unable to check in so I lost my money that I paid for a 2 night reservation. The hotel is old and looks run down from the outside. Very disappointed with the Oyo customer service. Would not book again.

Normally I don’t have an issue. I’ve stayed there more than 10 nights at this point. However, during my last stay, my charger and charging block went missing from my room. To top that off, I discovered bugs in the bed. The front desk directed me to contact OYO customer service for a refund since I ended up not staying of course. I was promised a refund over the phone that has yet to appear two weeks later. I sent an email, never received an answer. When calling OYO customer service to see what’s going on and following the menu prompts on the phone to get help with “a previous booking” it hangs up on you!! Terrible customer service.

What a terrible place. They refused to honor my reservation, with no notice until I showed up at the desk. I will never again try to stay here, even with their new owners (Choice Hotels).

I rented two rooms. The microwave didn’t work in the first one and we had no lights in the second one. Plus they tacked on a 25 dollar early check in fee after charging us 99 a room. The rooms stunk and we found bed bugs in one of the rooms. Highly disappointed, never stay again at this place.

First of all, I want to start out by saying that I loved the service I received here. The front desk staff were very friendly, they were attentive, and everyone made me feel welcome (I was traveling far).
The rooms were nice and clean - room was a little hot when I got there (which was to be expected during the summer if it hadn’t been used in awhile), but everything was up to par.

My only complaint (but my biggest complaint) was that I was placed in the back (which is where I’m assuming the majority of the guests go), but it seems nobody is monitoring the activity back there. I stayed 2 nights and on my first night there was a lot of ruckus outside by midnight, a couple fighting, and a drunk man singing at the top of his lungs. I kindly asked for him to quiet it down and he didn’t, so I called the front and the clerk was very gracious and understanding and got him to go back to his room.

On the second night, I was exhausted from lack of sleep the night before (and traveling so far out). As I was trying to sleep, again, it sounded like a group of teenagers outside singing at the top of their lungs all night long.
You can also hear doors slamming, people fighting, and banging and loitering out in the parking lots. I’m not sure if there are quiet hours or people who live on the property, but being a hotel and that people are paying, you’d still expect there to be some sort of common decency and quiet for those who are actually there to rest/relax.

Other than that, I enjoyed the accommodations.

We loved staying here everyone is so friendly except the guy on the night shift he is very rude there but we stayed there for 2 months and we love it there but the price kept going up every week on the room but I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay again the staff was like family to us.
