Stopped in here one time randomly. Was so beautiful. This was back when the trees were turning. Lots of trails and beauty.

Discovered the animals. So cool. Several types of hawk and owl. The foxes and wolves are so cool. Totally worth a day.

Come on a Saturday and see the telescope.

Beautiful park with wolves,fox,reptile house,birds, We went on Wednesday at 2pm to see them feed the wolves. The rangers was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions. The park has beautiful hiking trails and a museum. During the season you can take a barge ride on the lake. It does cost $7 to get in the park,$6 per person for the barge ride and planetarium show. There are picnic tables but they do not sell food . I highly recommend you visit this beautiful park.

Bays Mountain is amazing. I've been here for really great mountain biking and hiking, but today was my first visit to the planetarium. Very enjoyable and recommended. Haven't seen the wolves being fed yet, but that's for another day.

Today the lake by the dawn was as smooth as glass under the overcast winter sky.

Lovely, 65 degrees, arrived at 11 am at opening hour and a line of cars waiting which moved quickly. Beautiful grounds and the tree colors didn't disappoint. The bobcat, wolves nor the raptors came out to greet us 😭. Barge had broken down the day before so we were refunded. Hiked until 2 pm then entered the planetarium where a young woman spoke for 45 MN (Unexpected but enjoyable) re planets. This is a beautiful destination, easy to walk, and visually satisfying.

Enjoyed an afternoon at the Bays Mountain Park. The paths throughout the park are paved and clearly marked. The exhibits are clean and the animals have plenty of space. The animals were calm and appeared to be content. I enjoyed a barge ride and saw deer eating lily pads in the water. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I only saw a food truck on site with sandwiches so you may want to bring a cooler with snacks/ lunch. Picnic tables are available outside and the indoor restrooms and gift shop are a short walk from the parking lot. There is a water bottle refill station on site. Some areas are dog friendly, except for the animal exhibits. I did not visit the planetarium due to personal time constraints.

Great, well maintained trails, good animal exhibits, beautiful, stunning scenery, and wonderful fire-tower experiences all within about 10 minutes of food, shopping, and accommodations.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. You can tell they are passionate about what they do here. Amazing to see the animals and hear about how they came to be here. Will definitely be visiting again to see more of the museum and hike some trails
