Attended the Christmas event! Probably the coolest thing ever!! So many awesome costumes and displays. Tons of artists and living action of the 1800’s. The staff were awesome so knowledgeable and kind.

The Yule log burning was so special. The gentleman that led it was so good and I had just a blast. Totally worth waiting the two months since I discovered this event.

Beautiful farm setting. We visited the Exchange Place for a school field trip. The kids got to see donkeys, horses, pigs, chicken, and sheep. We had fun and went on a hay ride. We learn a lot about outdoors, plants, pollinators, and growing veggies. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. It was a beautiful fall day and the perfect place to enjoy it.

An historic place with a small museum, multiple wooden buildings and an outdoor area for craft fairs. Also a garden and some animals. Usually have folks in period garb walking around and in some of the buildings who can help you with information and/or doing demonstrations such as blacksmithing, carding wool, sewing, looming etc. The craft shows there are usually worth going to. If there is a $5 cover fee it goes into the maintenance of the grounds and buildings.

Went for a field trip. The true stories about the exchange place are very interesting. As well as how well preserved Everything is. The kids attended school in the 1851, wrote their names with chestnut ink & feather pens & made candles. Have also been to funfest there. It's a fun educational trip.

Our family visited for Christmas in the Country. Although Google shows it is closed at this time of year, it is open the FIRST Saturday in Dec for this event.
Several buildings are open for tour & there are lots of craft vendors, just a few food vendors.
Looking forward to the spring events.
Great volunteers with smiles!
