The Edwin is an outstanding boutique hotel located on the Tennessee River, nestled between the wonderful Aquarium and the Art Museum. My wife and I and our two Portuguese Water Dogs enjoyed one of their excellent suites on the third floor with a spacious balcony overlooking the pedestrian bridge and the river. The hotel is very pet friendly, with lots of goodies for them. This is a great location, you can walk to many fine restaurants and cultural exhibits- and the wonderful concert venue at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall. The hotel has an excellent restaurant- the "Whitebird"- the Mamaw- Meatloaf easily the best we've ever had dining out. The rooftop "Whiskey Thief" bar and Lounge features an amazing wall of Fine Whiskeys and its exterior balcony has the best evening viewpoint in the city- our pups enjoyed gazing out over the river at sunset. The staff at the hotel are all friendly, helpful and efficient. Our waiter Kenny and the Valet Manager Chris are real stand outs in the hospitality industry.|This will always be our First Choice when visiting Chattanooga.

We came up for our anniversary. Everything from check in with Aldrin to Whitebird for dinner with Taylor and host treating us like VIP guests. Pigeon was a great barista in the AM in Provisions. Friendly and personable. We definitely will be back. The hotel is in the perfect spot for walking the art district, grabbing a bite to eat, or sitting out on the patio for a drink. And the place smells amazing! Loved the art and quirky furniture in the public spaces. We felt welcomed and enjoyed the atmosphere. We will be back, and encourage others to try the hotel too!

The hotel has a great restaurant that serves a terrific breakfast and a rooftop lounge/bar that serves a great burger. City views from the roof top are superb.

The location is absolutely perfect for the aquarium and museum -bound visitor.

The rooms are comfortable but not spacious. The bed linens are very comfortable but the bath towels are more suited for a Super 8 from 2014.

This hotel follows the new Marriott tradition of pre-bagged ice in a common room along with a shared microwave per floor. That’s OK though IMO.

Valet parking is distinctly on the high side.

The pet fee is $150 which is also quite high IMO especially considering there is no pet relief area on the hotel property. You have to take your pooch to a small grassy area across the street next to an apartment complex and don’t forget to bring your own bag. This kinda mars the whole experience.

Given the pet cost and situation I doubt we’ll be back.

Wonderful hotel! Staff was helpful and kind. Atmosphere was great. Area safe and cozy. Shout out to the valet staff, Lujyin, Clay and Chris who were very helpful. Both the whiskey bar and the whitebird restaurant were tasty..walking distance to the aquarium.|There Trip Advisor...i wrote 200 characters!

We booked this hotel for a girls getaway and it was lovely. Our valet and bellman Carlos started our trip off perfectly with top notch service. We decide to use the complementary bikes and ride across the bridge and all around down town. It was a blast. We had cocktails at sunset on the 6th floor restaurant/ bar and the view was amazing and service and drinks were great. Being a titanium member with Marriott this hotel gave me 2 tokens for complementary drinks, breakfast vouchers for continental breakfast, and a $10 food voucher. The breakfast was light and so yummy. All the staff made an extra effort to make us feel welcome. Only suggestion I would have would be for there to be a hot tub by pool or one offered at the spa. Besides that is was a 10/10 hotel and we will be back.

My wife and I drive up from Atlanta to Chattanooga to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed at this hotel and were thoroughly pleased. Great location, beautifully appointed room, friendly staff, and the decor/vibe were perfect.
Would definitely stay here again.

We visited The Edwin hotel to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The lady checked us in was very friendly and up learning it was her birthday brought a bottle of champagne to our room. Throughout the whole trip she constantly ask us if anything she could do us. The Valet parking was outstanding. All in all the service and staff were exceptional.

Very nice hotel! Just checked in for our anniversary weekend and Megan was over the top sweet and friendly. She hooked us up with the perfect room and the hotel is in a great location, right on the river. Everything we are looking for is in walking distance and Clay swiftly took care of parking our car for the weekend. Great hotel, but the staff keep people coming back!
