Mirely was amazing!!! My flight to Dallas was delayed three times and my final destination was Vancouver BC. Because of her phenomenal customer service I was able to keep my original International plans, and did not have to postpone my trip for another day. Very pleased!

Change of seat 20min B4 boarding while the person who paid is a gold member and paid for 2 people but that does not matter. And they also lied to both of us. Witch didn't need to happen. Nice people skills. Hope this gold member that pays for fights year around wants to come back to this airline I do not and have no problem letting them know I would like a different airline. Also no wifi u will have to pay for it.

Besides the slow speed these employees work everything else was up to par. I missed my flight and they helped me reschedule a new one and directed me on the way to get to my gate. They where super friendly and helpful they experience from the gate to getting on the plane. The plane definitely was under maintenanced compared to other airlines.

Save yourself the hassle and expense and DON'T fly this airline. These clowns let us get on our flight from Tucson, only to cancel our connecting flight to Tampa along with 1700 other flights!!!! The reason they used for the cancellations was "weather". Every other airline managed to fly in and out of Dallas and in and out of Florida that day without "weather" issues except for American Airlines... We were stranded in Dallas with thousands of other people, with no way to get a hotel room because everyone else was looking for one, and with the choice of being stuck in the Dallas airport for 2 DAYS to maybe get a flight to Tampa (with the same high probability that this flight would be cancelled for "weather"). Our only choice was to rent a car ($1000 expense) and drive 18 hours to get to Tampa. I called customer relations to ask for reimbursement for the rental and was first told that I couldn't be reimbursed because my flight was cancelled due to "weather", and then when I escalated my request to appeal the decision and was told that I couldn't be reimbursed because of "liability" issues. And to add insult to injury, there was no "weather" in Dallas or Tampa that day or that entire weekend for that matter! This airline will cancel your flight because they are poorly managed and understaffed, and then blame it on the "weather" so that they don't have to take responsibility for stranding you in some airport without a way out, and to use it as a scapegoat for not doing anything about it! Beware and fly an airline that is competent at their business!!!

Flight from Tucson to Dallas was delayed due to maintenance issues. Would have missed connecting flight to Monroe. Offered to put us up in a hotel either here or in Dallas, but we were able to take an alternate destination at Shreveport and drive the remainder. Ticket counter was amazing, very apologetic and glad to work with us to get our new flight schedule worked out. Even gave us a meal voucher for the delay. Needed to get our checked bags changed to the new destination and we were allowed to get an extra pack of cigarettes out of the bag for the drive home before they were rechecked. I understand bad things happen sometimes that are out of our control, but the Tucson branch of American Airlines was cool under pressure and able to do a wonderful job. Only reason this isnt 5 stars is due to the delay in the first place! Definitely worth booking with them!

Ticketing agent Carla? (Blond, shoulder length hair, older lady) is very rude. She cracks under pressure and should not be interacting with customers. 1) She asked for people boarding the 730a flight to Dallas. My flight to Dallas was boarding at 730a. I raised my hand. When she called me over she (very loudly) announced to the crowd that I was not on the 730a to Dallas. I told her my plane boards at 730a. She, again, very loudly, announced to the crowd that when she calls out times, that she means the departure time, not the boarding time. What was a simple mistake on my part, she turned into an opportunity to embarrass me.
2) Then, she loudly announced that I shouldn't have been in the priority lane. I informed her that I had paid extra for my ticket, and that I was priority. After arguing with me for a minute, she realized she was WRONG. Did she apologize? No. She was trying to embarrass me but ended up embarrassing herself. Rude, rude, rude.

I used the call-back method to get to customer service. The CSR was knowledgeable, friendly and let me know all the details each step of the way.

My years of flying for work has taught me that American is the most reliable American airline in the US, and yet usually has the best rates as well.

I just want to mention that everyone has bad days, but the woman who scolded me for calling a phone number that was given to me (by an employee) to answer questions (I had been trying to track down for two hours) was rude, out of line, and had very poor customer service skills. I have flow a lot out of Tucson and everyone has been super nice... except American Airlines... I'll never book a personal trip with them ever... I was treated better when I flew with United... now that's saying something...
