Have stayed here multiple times and always have an excellent experience. The people are lovely, the rooms are comfy and very clean. The outdoor space is pretty. Breakfast is amazing. They also have snacks, sweets and drinks available. Close to lots of hiking, University of the South, day trips.|We will be back!

Monteagle Inn is a wonderful, home-like place with charming character. It doesn't have the feel of a hotel...more like the home your grandparents would have if they were well to do. ||What really sets this place apart though is their staff...they go out of their way to please. The food they served our 18 people was excellent!

The closest thing to staying with family! The warmest of staff, exceptional ease and comfort to this very special Inn. Many treats abound! The Inn keepers were more than accommodating to our last minute Holiday booking and the breakfast is top notch.

What a wonderful experience we had staying at Monteagle Inn. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They even included our granddaughter and her friend for breakfast even though they did not stay there. They are students at SAS and we were there to visit them. We can’t wait to go back and will definitely stay at the Inn when we do. Hopefully we can get several rooms for graduation 2026! Thank you!

Our family had a wonderful overnight here while touring Sewanee. The rooms were perfect and there wasn't anything that was less than ideal. Ice cream in the rockers on the front porch was our favorite - and breakfast was delicious!|The service and hospitality was great - we look forward to visiting again soon!

This was a perfect place to spend a few days with my sisters. The staff is outstanding, the beds and pillows are comfortable, breakfast has everything you want, the grounds and landscaping are beautiful. We enjoyed choosing a different place to have our coffee every morning! We felt welcomed and there was nothing we needed that they didn’t have. I particularly liked the fact that there were no TVs in the bedrooms.

Spent the night here before seeing Oliver Anthony. This is a very cute bed and breakfast that allows you to focus less on technology and more on the company you are with. Rooms are decent size and have a home worthy warmth about them. The doors are similar to those you would find in a country home where you can hear the steps of those around you. The staff was extremely hospitable and welcoming. Breakfast was perfect. We would stay here again.
