Quick 3 day trip for Spring Break with my 10yo. First time in Chattanooga and we picked a great hotel. The Kinley was beautifully decorated, super nice staff esp the manager, Peter. Rooms were so cute. We opted for the queen size bunk beds which each had its own tv. It was comfortable and fun. Room had what we needed. Gym was a nice size and fully equipped. We heard no street noise at night. We were next to the elevator and didn’t hear it either. Complimentary water and snacks were nice. Speakeasy was very nicely done, although more for adults than kids but we were welcomed. Free busing across the street to key points was unexpected and made the trip even better. Otherwise everything else we needed was in walking distance. Great restaurants close by. We also were able to book with our military discount at a great rate.

We live about 2 hrs away. Got home and realized I left my wedding rings on the sink. Called the hotel and Peter saved me a lot of anxiety by finding and securing the rings in a safe until I returned 2 days later. He even offered to have them shipped or driven to me. Thanks again Peter!! We’ll definitely be back!

We were excited to go to the Speak Easy for our 2nd time. 1st experience positive. We arrived Saturday, 3/22 at 8 pm. As we walked in, the front desk clerk greeted us. We informed him we were there for the Speak Easy. He told us someone would be out soon and we Sat to wait in the lobby. We waited 30 minutes. In the mean time other parties arrived and were told to wait. After the 30 minutes someone came out and asked all there if we had reservations. No greeting. No sorry for the wait. Then he proceeded to say they had 2 seats they could fill and he began to offer those seats to people that came after us. This created an awkward situation where we had to sort the issue among ourselves as both the hotel front desk and bar seater looked on. I was disappointed in the treatment and told my husband i wanted to go elsewhere. I am a titanium elite member of Marriott and never experienced this kind of disregard for guests. We have spent time in town at the Residence Inn, Courtyard and Edwin and all have been exceptional. I would have expected this same level of service at the Kinley.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are very European/New York style, (that is a nice way to say compacted.) The staff is very friendly, and a nice workout room. The beds are not to Marriott standards. I could not sleep on the bed and left in the middle of the night because I could not sleep well. (My partner had the same issue..)

I truly can't say enough good things about the Kinley Hotel in Chattanooga—everything about our stay was a 12/10! The aesthetic of the hotel is stunning, with a perfect blend of modern and cozy vibes that make you feel right at home. The food was incredible at both The Exchange & The Company, and the speakeasy was such a fun and unique touch. Shout out to Ellis, Olivia, and Corey— y’all were so great!!

What really stood out, though, was the staff and service. The managers were BEYOND kind and accommodating— shout out to Peter & Austin! — we truly felt like best friends by the end of our trip. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect.

On top of all that, the Kinley is dog-friendly, which made our stay even more special. Everyone was so sweet to Zoey, making her feel just as welcomed as we were.

If you're visiting Chattanooga, staying at the Kinley is an absolute must!

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. One of the standout features was the speakeasy bar, which added a unique and fun vibe to the property. There’s also a coffee bar on-site, which was a nice touch.

The location is fantastic—within walking distance to many bars and restaurants, and I felt safe exploring the area. Valet parking was available for $22, which was convenient, though I’m unsure if self-parking was an option.

The room itself was spacious, cozy, and modern. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the blackout curtains, which allowed for a great night's sleep. The check-out time of 12 pm was also a big plus, giving me some extra relaxation in the morning.

Overall, the cost was fair for the area, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We stayed here passing through for the night. Centrally located to restaurants and shops within walking distance. Hotel is valet only but there is a parking garage across the street for $15 each time you come and go. Entrance / lobby was very clean and inviting. Room was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable. Pillows are completely flat! The road noise wasn’t too terrible. We stopped in to grab a coffee at the exchange the next morning and it was not good at all. The coffee tasted burnt and watery. This place is ok for a last minute booking.

This is NOT a family friendly hotel. At least not for two toddlers. Was informed at check in that the queen bed situation is bunk beds due to the size of their rooms. Yea! Double the fun with a 3 and 4 year old and one of the parents having insomnia, not a good night. So our choice was a King bed for 4 people or have a parent and child 6 feet up over a tile floor. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep well.

Granted it was NYE night, service was slow at the bar/restaurant. Food was decent.

The TV’s in the room (which are partially blocked by the bunk bed ladder or railing) would cut back to the main menu every 3-5 minutes. Which meant our children would complain about every 3-5 minutes. So double the fun on that too.

Lastly, no privacy in the barn door bathroom. Good times with toddlers as well.

Needless to say, we won’t be back any time soon, even it’s just the wife and me looking for a stay.

We stayed here while attending a show close-by. The rooms and lobby were clean and the staff was friendly. We had a few drinks at the bar, ate breakfast the next morning, and the location in town was awesome. We will stay here again.
