We were looking for to an overnight stay in a nice hotel. We had expectations of a nice overnight while traveling north after a long day of driving. Thought we’d pay a little extra to ensure we’d stay in a nicer hotel. The first thing we notice in our room was a broken blind in the only window in the room. We had to manipulate the blind to get it to even go down, then the hole was obvious. The bedside lamp wouldn’t turn on so I took it out the lightbulb in a puff of dust. The front desk got me another bulb from a nearby lamp. That also didn’t work, the lamp was broken. In the bathroom, the shower head was corroded and rust was on the metal doorframe. The inside of the bathroom door was warped up on the bottom with the wood was stained, curling up and separating in the woods layers.|As we moved into the hall to walk our dog, several spots in the carpet were noted.|I should have given this a hotel a 1 but the staff was very nice and tried to help.|At breakfast the next morning, the food was fine but the coffee creamer that was available for customers was expired. There were three different flavor options for creamer, 2 of the 3 were expired by months. We told the front desk and they were amazed that that was the case.|I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would glad point anyone away from this hotel. We paid around $320 including a $40 pet fee to stay in a hotel that should not even have a 1 star rating. So shocked for a Holiday Inn property.

This hotel is a great option for when you are traveling and need a good, quiet, and clean place to stay. Our room was SO CLEAN! The staff were cheerful, courteous, and helpful. We found the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is included and they had a wide variety of options--hot and cold. We would definitely stop here again.

Stayed this past weekend and the staff working on sunday morning was amazing. So cheerful and overall just a happy crew. The lady running the breakfast was super sweet and kept everything tidy. And the lady behind the front counter was just so joyful. It was nice coming down to so many happy faces it was a great start to the day. We will be back.

After two disappointing stays at IHG properties, it was nice to get back to what we've come to expect from this brand. Clean public areas, working facilities, comfy beds and a sparkling bathroom. The only drawback--they couldn't serve hot breakfast foods in the morning. The staff member in charge communicated clearly and offered everything in her power to make things right, and my kids were satisfied with cereal, muffins, and oatmeal. And there was plenty of hot water and coffee for me 😉

Shout out to the front desk gal working the morning of 4/7. She was so friendly and kind, even to my kids!

The carpets were dirty. The bathroom wall by tub was damaged & needs repaired. Light next to bed didn’t work.
Bed was comfortable. Staff was very courteous & helpful. Breakfast variety was good but the hot food wasn’t hot, just warm.

I have always loved IHG, the hotels are clean and comfortable and the staff are always professional, friendly and helpful...but this particular one really outdid themselves!
What Incredible AMAZING staff! After checkout while putting my wheelchair back into the van the strap for my wheelchair broke dropping my wheelchair while at its height going into the van. After asking if we were OK, the staff at the Holiday Inn Express called several places trying to find someone to help us (we were on our way home from Florida), most of the mobility companies would not even try to help (we were in Chattanooga TN). Even when they kept getting "No, we can not/will not help" both Deja and Rom would not give up. They kept calling company after company and asking for recommendations when they got a no until they found a company to help me (North Georgia Mobility). This took them about an hour. I was at a loss. I am totally dependant on my wheelchair and these two angels were making sure I would be able to continue my journey home. A lot of others would have just given me a phone no. or two and left me to fend for myself. True southern hospitality at its best. I cannot begin to thank them enough. I hope IHG realizes what wonderful staff they have.

The place was okay. The toilet seat in Room 305 AND the general public women's rest room need to have the toilet seat tighten down. Basic stuff! We were sliding off the seat because they were loose.

When I went to check out in the morning (3/31) the staff person was not friendly. I said to him that I was checking out and told him my room number and showed the card. He just pointed to the box of returned cards and said NOTHING! Not even have a good day or how was the stay. So I am saving my comments for this review. He was too busy playing with the cards in his hand.

I was blown away by the hospitality of Deja at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and checked in ahead of time to make sure my room matched my profile preference. My bed was comfortable and the shower water pressure was what I needed after a long drive. The breakfast attendant was bubbly and kind and the morning crew made it worth it. They get customer service here. Keep doing what you’re doing here, it’s working.
