Knocked off 1 star because the 1st room I was given, one side of room had no power working...I was told there are no other rooms, then 5 minutes later I was given a new room. I don't like when employees give you the run around like that.

Next room had dated furniture, but was clean and nice bed. It was a budget hotel so expectations aren't high.

Worth the price I paid, and breakfast was good enough, too.

My Buddy checked in to this hotel on his way to Florida from Wisconsin. He had been driving for over 10 hours and needed a place to rest. It seemed like a clean, safe place to sleep for the night. What he wasn't prepared for, were the bed bugs. Completely visible after a few hours of relaxing in his room. After checking in, settling in as one does, he was watching TV prepared to sleep. Suddenly he felt something crawling by his foot, threw the blankets back, and saw a tick sized, full grown bed bug on his foot.
He immediately took a video of the bug and gathered his belongings, went to the front desk to show them the video stating he would not be staying in the room and asked for a refund.
The hotel would not refund him, despite the time stamped video evidence of the bed bugs, largely visible, because he had been in the room for more than two hours (before the bed bugs showed themselves)
Outrageously gross negligence and poor management of the matter. Stay far away.

Where to start!!! We have stayed in a lot of Hotels due to workand or vacations, but this was by the far the worst. Heated pool is NOT heated water was as cold as ice.
Room was dirty, my wife and I spent 30 mins wiping down everything with disinfective wipes that where covered in dirt and who knows what else. Dry wall was coming off the walls in our room. Ac unit took us almost an hour to get it to turn on then it kept shutting off which made the room stuffy and hot. Hallways were dirty with stains plus it smelled.
Did not clean during our whole stay which was a few days. So no fresh towels or washcloths

Will we stay here again heck no

Overall decent place. But the room had some old things or patch work. Not sure if there was some remodeling ongoing. I went during off peak hours so not sure that might be another reason for my experience. The only reason for probably a 4 star is because I was on a week long trip and I stayed at 3 other hotels and that may have swayed my opinion a little from 5 star. Good property overall.

Overall this is a good value for the money. However this first room we were booked in had two problems. First there was no phone we could use to call the front, not a huge issue but. Second, the toilet sprayed water all of the bathroom when flushed. When we reported this we were given a new room, but no apology, and no upgrade.

Management definitely need to work on the rooms on this old hotel. There were ceiling fans but was not running , I could hear train noise through out the night (the windows definitely needed better sealing or better yet new windows) we see flies in room and bugs in the bath tub.

The reception staff was kind and courteous and breakfast was decent. overall I would not visit again unless the management does some remodeling or fix things.

Very friendly, very clean, excellent shower great water pressure, neat and typical breakfast, reasonable rate. Sadly I must say However..Non smoking room had smelled like a smokers home the bed was on a noisy piece of metal that flexed with sound effects every time you moved while the water pressure was good it sounded like a flood rushing in when the toilet was flushed, not only heard the one in our room but nearby guest.

My family and I stayed overnight while visiting Chattanooga. The location was good for the where we visited while there. Other than the first room being not clean when we walked in and the rooms needing some updating, our stay was good. We’d stay again.
