Wonderful place to enjoy the afternoon. Outdoors is beautiful. Indoors very stylish, love the decorate. Drove two and a half hours to enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea service. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. Enjoyed afternoon tea with my husband who was delighted with the food and the service.

They helped me reserve a tea bachelorette party for my best friend. She and the other girls were over the moon with the whole experience. The food and tea were delicious. And the atmosphere was absolutely lovely! The rooms were elegant and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful too! I plan to come again!

To start this off Sonja and the ladies at mountain oaks manor are hands down incredible and so hard working!! Sonja literally planned, decorated and catered our beautiful wedding in a months time after our previous venue cancelled on us. Sonja handled this wedding with ease. From the first moment we spoke to her I felt so relieved. She made it so easy and less stressful. When I tell you that woman is hardworking 😳, she gets things done! We loved everything about this place and they made us feel at home every time we were there. The wedding couldn’t have been more beautiful! The food was AMAZING! And the decorations were perfect. She’s got some talent for sure! She also organized the wedding with ease, if you use this place, don’t be nervous because you will be in great hands! Thank you so much Sonja and the ladies for the best wedding we could’ve had! If you are interested in having a wedding or any kind of event just talk to Sonja and I promise you with be so comfortable and satisfied because you will know this is the place for you! We had our office Christmas party here. The rooms were decorated perfectly for the season. Very festive. We selected menu and Sonya’s crew did a great job. It was set up buffet style. Service was great!

Recently visited for the candlelight Christmas dinner experience. I have been meaning to go for years but thought it was mainly a wedding, party or meeting venue. And that it still is but let me just say the Christmas dinner was delightful. My understanding the dinners are only for various holidays but lunch is a regular occurrence. We made a dinner reservation. It was a gift from my sister. And a wonderful gift it was. We were seated and immediately was enjoying scones and a special Christmas hot tea that was so so satisfying. The scones were like a before dinner dessert. With dinner I had a peach iced tea. The fare was simple but not simple but rather elegant. After dinner we had more hot tea and then wandered about the building where various bite sized desserts were stationed. I went back for the peanut butter fudge a couple of times. The entire place was decorated for Christmas. Guys this is the place to go for a date night during their special holiday dinners. But not just holiday dinner but lunch on regular occurrence. Fast forward a few days and my daughter comes home from college for the Christmas break on a Thursday evening. I called Friday morning to make a lunch reservation and they were able to work us in. We had a delightful father-daughter lunch date. My daughter was also impressed by the satisfying hot teas. Obviously lunch is a bit simpler but not in a lesser way and no dessert stations although we were able and encouraged to visit the various rooms of decorations. I’m already planning to take my office manager to Christmas luncheon this last days of the week before Christmas. She will love it as much as my daughter and better half did. I wish I had taken my mother to places like this. If your mother is still with you, take her.

Update: my office manager loved the unique experience. In this world of the same chains and franchises in every town this place is a refreshing one of a kind jewel hidden in plain sight. If you are reading this passing through on I-75 please know it’s probably no more than 5 or 10 minutes from either Exit 9 or Exit 11. Also please hit the like if you read this.

Perfect!!! From the first sip of the peach 🍑 ice tea to the last bite of our strawberry chocolate cheesecake, it was an extraordinary experience enveloped in southern hospitality. The mansion is so elegant and the place settings were the epitome of Afternoon Tea charm. I called ahead for customization and owner Sonya was so sweet to accommodate us with her delectable creations. Our host was such an ageless beauty, so imagine my shock when Sonya said it was her mommy. 🥰 I will have whatever she is having please!

The food ☕️ the ambiance 🌺 the care 💗 the impeccable setting 🏛the ultimate experience of what Afternoon Tea should be.
