This venue and day-of coordinator (Lynette) and all her staff were A DREAM!! My new husband and I could not be more grateful to the entire staff throughout the whole process. Everything went according to plan but they also worked with us to let us “have our time and enjoy the moment”. The balance between staying on time and enjoying the moment was PERFECT.

The waitstaff was so fun, attentive and considerate of the groom and I. I wanted to shout them out cause they did so much and we could not be more grateful! Lynette was so attentive and supportive the entire way. She was everything I could have asked for and more. Her assistant, Sophie, was the absolute sweetest and did so much heavy lifting!! (Literally and figuratively) The food (provided by city club- St. Thomas’ food provider) was impeccable. I had almost every guest tell me the food was incredible. The groom ante our leftovers the next day as well and loved them!!

Overall, we would not change a thing. Thank you all so much.

Pretty church converted into a rental hall. Attended a wedding reception here.

Hall is located on a steep hill adjacent to uneven sidewalk. Stairs from the sidewalk to the landing are poorly lit and almost invisible when wet at night. I had to carefully guide my wife down the stairs when leaving and an elderly guest fell down the stairs when going outside for a sparkler tunnel. Stairs leading into the hall are narrow and do not have a railing so some guests may need assistance going through the doors.

Parking is either metered street parking or metered lots. Meters can be paid with a credit card or through a website. The website allows you to add extra time without having to go back to the physical meter. Be sure to either add more time or be at your car before your time expires. Several tow trucks are staged in nearby lots waiting for the time to expire and they respond immediately when it does.

People with mobility issues will have high difficulty navigating around and in this venue. No wheelchair or mobility scooter access at all.

Restrooms are located in the basement and desperately need updating. Hallway to the restrooms is situated behind the stage. Stairs are once again an issue. The stairs leading to the restrooms are steep, narrow and has an awkward turn 2/3 of the way down. Again, I had to carefully guide my wife down when she had to use the facilities.

The space itself can accommodate several 10-person round tables plus a sweetheart table, gift and guest book tables, L-shaped buffet, a small bar and a DJ stand. Dance floor is small but doable. Stage is a trip and a fall hazard if not careful. The former choir loft can also accommodate tables.

Please be mindful of your older or less manueverable guests before booking this venue. It is not for anyone with mobility issues. If you do book here and you're having an evening event, be sure to include a plan to illuminate the outside stairs and nearby sidewalk.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to hold my daughters wedding at St. Thomas Preservation Hall. Due to Covid and military deployments we had to change our date several times and they were very accommodating even holding to our originally contracted fees. It was 2 years from the time we started planning until we finally had the wedding there and the venue went through a few changes in coordinators during that time. Again it was seamless. We ended up with Kerri as our coordinator. She is amazing. We had a rough couple of weeks leading up to the wedding. Our grooms father passed away a few weeks prior and the bride’s father was involved in a serious motorcycle accident 5 days prior (and still somehow managed to convince the hospital let him out in time). We were last minute getting a lot of information to Kerri and she just rolled with it. With all the stress that brought we didn’t have to worry about anything the day of except getting our bride ready to go. Kerri took care of the rest. The bride room downstairs is a great place to hang out and get ready and they even have a room for the Groom as well! I highly recommend this venue! I would give it more stars than 5 if I could!

Saint Thomas is a gorgeous venue, inside and out. Heather is beyond amazing! From start to finish of planning and throughout the wedding she was very knowledgeable, helpful, organized, and lifted so much off our shoulders in terms of the day of. I highly recommend her services if utilizing Saint Thomas. Poppy, all of the staff, and bartenders were fantastic as well. I couldn't have asked for a better day and people to work with!

You will not regret choosing St. Thomas! This venue is absolutely stunning. It does not need many decorations because it is so beautiful in itself. Off season is affordable! They have a catering package and provide wonderful hours. The staff is so sweet and great to work with! Would 100% choose St. Thomas again and again. Could not recommend a venue more!

Beautiful place to be for a mid-morning or mid-afternoon wedding... the sun shines beautifully through the stained glass. Parking on their lot, on the street or in the pay-to Park lot is probably the only thing that you'll have to worry about... beautiful building inside and out.

I wouldn't say I regret choosing this location for our wedding. However, if you are looking at this venue, I would highly advise not to hire Lynette as your wedding coordinator. This venue is stunning and the building is owned by a high-end restaurant so catering and bar service is covered. When we signed our contract, Shannon was the coordinator. She was extremely knowledgeable and had great work ethic. We were so excited to work with her but she moved out of state 2 months before the wedding and Lynette took over. We had several issues with her from the start. She was supposed to process our last payment 3 days before it was due and ended up sending me a blank receipt without charging my card. Our planner called to ask her the same question about measurements for the altar and tables 3 times and she never responded to her until my husband called and yelled. We also had issues trying to get her to update our day of timeline. Several times she said she would get it updated and just never did so we had to redo it ourselves and provide copies to our vendors. We called multiple times asking to speak with an actual manager because we felt something sketchy was going on but Lynette was always the one to call back. The whole time we were trying to figure out if she was just lazy or incompetent and it caused a lot of stress thinking she was going to do something to mess up our day. At the rehearsal, it was obvious she had no idea what she was talking about. We had warned the officiant of what was going on so he ended up just leading the whole thing. Day of the wedding comes, and she is no where to be found. She said she would open the venue for us at 8am. 9:30 comes around and our planner is calling and walking around the venue trying to get in to start decorating. I just don't think she is a good fit and she caused a lot of unnecessary stress. We basically paid $1,600 for someone to cause stress and confusion and the venue was not there to support us.
