Being in an emergency room at 10pm at night with an 8yr old in January is never a place you want to be, however our experience with Winchester Hospital, and Dr. Lazar in particular, was as good as you can hope for. Unsure of what was going on with my daughter's breathing, we were treated promptly & brought to a room. Dr. Lazar was patient, thorough & thoughtful throughout the whole experience & we are so grateful for that. It is clear he really cares about the patients he sees, and he's just a terrific ER doc. The nurses & admissions were fantastic as well - thank you all for making an unpleasant evening better than I had anticipated!

The staff are nice once you see them but the wait times are horrendous. My mother, who is in her 70s, and I waited for 3.5 hours in the waiting room while she was in immense pain. We came at 10 pm and were taken back at 1:30 am. We stayed over night and we ended up being discharged at 11 am, so the whole visit took almost 13 hours. 90% of that time was just waiting.

This is the first time I’ve ever been tempted to write a review for an emergency department. Came in with my baby, which obviously is a stressful experience. Our nurse was so kind and compassionate, and everyone was very considerate and helpful, from the man who valeted our car to the reception staff, to everyone who treated the baby. It made a very stressful experience much less miserable.

Nobody wants to have to go to the ER, but I've had great experiences at Winchester. Dr. Lee is the best. He was kind, patient, and informative and took the time to educate me on future treatment options. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience to this hospital. I recently had kidney stones. The hospital really took care of me, the nurses were awsome. I stayed there for four days. Had the surgery in the last day because I was in so much pain. I felt so much better after. Thank you staff, nurses, Doctors.

Do not go here. Was brought it at 930pm, didn’t leave until 430 am. We went in on a Wednesday night. I don’t know if it was student night or what but all nurses and everyone that came in couldn’t have been more than 21 years old. Very unprofessional dropping instruments and still using them. Had to ask 7 times when we will be seen by the doctor. Saw him for 2 minutes. (Based on his hair, probably just woken up from a nap) all of them on their phones listening them talk about other patients in the ER. Do not go there.

Absolute disgrace how rude there staff is I was brought in in ambulance after I collapsed at work only to be told I have to stand and wait after 2 hours of waiting I asked how much longer it would be and was told I could be waiting 3 to 4 more hours rudely so I left! Staff in that ER was absolutely horrible! You people yes you ER workers should be ashamed for how you treat people I wasn't the only one they were rude too!
