We were passing through and had a great evening here! We enjoyed their chocolate chip cookies and mulled apple cider and a few other drinks. Quite relaxing. We all had a great night's rest and woke up to a wonderful breakfast in our room. Such creative options for breakfast! We all highly recommend.

We had yet another incredible stay at TOURISTS! It was the perfect place to cozy up during a snowstorm. Heated floors in the room = truly magical in winter. The staff were friendly, gracious and warm as ever. We had beautiful meals at The Airport Rooms and enjoyed lots of time by the fireplace in the Lodge sipping bevvies. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Tourists is everything you want in a getaway. The lodge is super cozy with a huge roaring fireplace, minimalistic design, and killer cocktails and food (the Smash Burger holy sh*t). The staff is AMAZING, always friendly and ready to help (or keep that fire going!).

The rooms are clean and spacious with thoughtful details like vintage postcards, books that share the history about the town, and handwritten welcome notes sometimes accompanied by a gift (which is appreciated beyond words). The bed and linens are so soft and cozy, you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Bathrooms are spotless and stocked with Ursa Major products (so good I now use them at home). In the warmer months, every room has a private outdoor shower, which is so refreshing after a long day of hiking/swimming (oh there is also a pool on site too!)

The grounds are fun to explore, with a suspension bridge leading to short trails through the woods. And the restaurant next door? Unreal. It’s set in an old farmhouse built in the 1800’s and was minimally restored to preserve its original charm. They serve some of the best food/drinks plus sometimes they do pop up dinners with visiting chefs from all over. Bonus-you can have a few drinks and walk back to your room without a worry 😉

All in all, this place is 10/10 and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. So much to do in the surrounding towns but we often find ourselves relaxing in the lodge in the winter months or floating in the Hoosic in the summer months without ever having to leave the grounds.

Jillian, Bryn & Colleen made us feel like we were exactly where we belonged— thank you!! …still daydreaming about the lodge. We are already booking again for summer.

Stayed one night on a solo work escape. (I’m a self-employed artist and needed to recharge) It was so quiet, cozy and peaceful. The lodge is great. Food exceeded expectations. The beds are so comfortable. Rooms are great. Very friendly staff. Close to Mass Moca and The Clark.

A delight and a complete surprise! Wonderful service, friendly cool vibe. We signed up to a morning hike - 1.5 hours FOC. Great coffee in the morning. Nice touches in the room. Really enjoyed our stay, great views of the woods, spent time at the pool - relaxing stay

Tourists is always a pleasurable getaway experience. They have a beautiful property to explore whether its the spring, summer, autumn or winter, and the surrounding area is full of the arts and color. They also have a stellar dining experience at the Airport Rooms for dinner that you definitely want to get a reservation for!

The staff is also very attentive in a friendly manner and they take care of everything you could possibly need. Great food, drinks, and people... Tourists has nailed the experience.

Tourists had been on my radar for several years and we finally booked a long weekend in September. We had an absolutely fabulous time, and I can't wait to return. The property is gorgeous and nails the contemporary / mid-century / bohemian / almost Scandi design aesthetic with sincerity. The staff are really lovely and took great care of us. Special shout-outs to Alex and the team at the Airport restaurant, Sierra, Maddie, and Gus for being so welcoming to us and our dog. The food at the Lodge and on-site restaurant is excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, and the proximity to great hiking is fantastic.
