Assemblea was a great venue for me to have my party. There's ample parking around at night, incredible light during the day, and they were very helpful and accommodating. My friends and family loved the space. There was more than enough space to have a full dinner party for 30 people and areas for everyone to hang around. There is a kitchen there too which made it ideal for me to prepare food the day of the event.

Assemblea was the second venue my partner and I looked at. We fell in love with the space right away, especially for the price. But from the start, what really set Assemblea apart was the venue managers, Kahrin and Michael. Being a newer venue, there were lots of "hmm we haven't done that before". And with every situation, Kahrin was open minded and had a "we'll make it work" attitude. Communication via email was excellent during the planning process and throughout it, I just got the sense that Kahrin is not just a good venue manager, but a good person. We got proof of this throughout the wedding - just the fact that we didn't get to/have to see most of the "behind the scenes" during the wedding is a testament to how much Kahrin and Michael did to make the day go smooth for us. Overall, our experience with Assemblea was superb and we'd recommend it to anyone who is throwing an event.

I've hosted a couple different events here for the Chicago chapter of Ladies, Wine and Design and they have always gone so perfectly. There's plenty of room for discussions and networking. It was perfect for our hand lettering workshop last February, and the art on the walls just added to our creative conversations. When we planned a panel event for 30+ ladies, I knew this space would be perfect. The open floor plan allowed us to have plenty of chairs for the actual event, but also allowed for room to walk around and chat before and after. I would definitely host more events here.

We had a party here for my husband's birthday. What a wonderful, warm, flexible venue to hold a memorable event!! All of my guests enjoyed themselves and the beautiful space. We loved working with Kahrin and Mike, they helped us turn this event into one for the memory books! We highly recommend having an event at Assemblea!!

An excellent space with lots of little nooks and crannies if you want to set up various "booths", "stations", or "rooms." We hoped to hold a roughly 100-person wedding here; we went with Assemblea because of the size, flexibility (we could book any caterer -- not the norm! -- we had several options for our alcohol), and charm of the space (the two levels and the garden were both great). This is an amazing place all around.

Best of all, a thoroughly community-oriented space. They have been incredibly understanding with the Covid-19 pandemic, worked with us to initially reschedule and eventually cancel our event without holding onto our deposit, etc. If we get a chance, we will definitely be re-booking here when all this is over.
