Had the most wonderful engagement party hosted at Concord Fifty Five. The event space is so unexpected and is in this great industrial area. In the front is a beautiful garden, inside Concord Fifty Five is all exposed brick and beams with large windows and this glossy cement floor, and they even have an outside area in the back with a view of the Chicago skyline. We worked directly with Carissa who was full of unique and creative ideas while considering our budget at the same time. You can simply just rent the event space and bring in all your own food/beverage, wait staff, decorators and everything in between, but we just wanted to experts to handle it and I’m so thankful we did. She catered our food & beverages from Knife & Tine, plus she created two signature cocktails based on the bride/groom’s favorite drinks. The wait staff was so helpful and made sure everything was coming out on time and that all our guests were taken care of. She created a dessert/gifts table that was just beautiful, put together an incredible backdrop made of giant balloons that read, “love is in the air,” & completely surprised us with a “selfie” station where people could take pictures and just be silly together. Needless to say, the event was a success. Dealing with a soon to be bride, mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom is not an easy feat, but Carissa did a fantastic job of taking all opinions into consideration and making this event better than we could have ever asked for. Now I just have to think of an event for this summer so we can take advantage of the outdoor space too!

We had the most spectacular 1st birthday for my daughters here. Living in the city you are confined to smaller spaces and when we wanted to throw a big birthday bash we started our hunt for the perfect space. We wanted something warm and inviting, something that felt like an extension of what people would feel if thrown at our own home. Concord Fifty Five was the place. Everything was so easy, from setting up a showing to see the space, to run down with Carissa what our vision was to execution. Carissa has a true passion for making each event exceed your expectations. It truly is a hidden gem, with easy parking, great access to the express ways and is GORGEOUS. WE cannot thank you enough for the memories.

Really great event space. Had a wedding reception here - space is charming, has character, is totally unexpected behind a kitchens store in an industrial area - but is super unique.

The staff is also incredible. So caring, decent, and helpful. They totally made the event really special and we are so appreciative of them.

Would warmly reccommend this place to anyone.

We held our wedding at Concord 55 about three weeks ago and are beyond thrilled with making the decision to have it as our venue. The space itself is gorgeous inside and out, and Carissa and her team were incredibly professional, committed, and flexible in helping us put together the wedding of our dreams. It felt at times like they were part of the wedding party! No detail was too small for Carissa's careful and enthusiastic, and everything was absolutely perfect in the end. We're still glowing from an unforgettable day, and incredibly grateful to Concord 55 for helping us make it happen.

I drove right by it the first time. It's basically on the corner of the main rd.
Easy street parking which was awesome!
The place was very cute, great window light. I was there for a baby shower. The family brought in catering. There is a cute kitchen which helped with clean up and prepping. The space is like a large studio.The workers at concord fiftyfive were readily available.

This is s great place for an intimate party. It is very low key in a pretty decent area and you definitely don't have to worry about any riffraffs here. The drinks are okay but there isn't much of a variety, however if the bartender is up for it, they are willing to a accommodate.

Concord FiftyFive kicked off our evening with terrific service, appetizers, beverages and ambiance, everyone attending our event was duly impressed. The tone for the evening was set! Conversations flowing, the staff supported the affair perfectly; even steering us towards the charming Bocce Ball set on the mood lit patio. Dinner was fantastic, only topped by some of the best desserts known to man. Thanks Concord FiftyFive, we shall return!
