I am a long term resident at Webster Manor. All the staff here are awesome and I receive the best care ever. The people I have met here are also good to get along with. Food is good and you can order what you want. My choice to stay here is because I get the best care possible. I would highly recommend this place for whatever your needs are for short term Rehab. The physical therapist and Occupational therapist are also awesome. They work hard on each ones needs as well.

My brother in law has been there for about 1 1/2 months. We are both happy with the staff and he is happy with the food. He went there because of having his 2nd leg amputated, therapy not bad as he is able to do most things for himself now but just got tv working after several complaints about it but no working remote. Laundry is absolutely the WORST SERVICE I have ever seen. He never has clothes, I marked everything I brought in with black permanent marker but it did no good as his clothes don't come back and what we do find is not his but they have labeled them as his. I have complained to social service twice with no results and left 2 messages with the administrator with no return call. Be sure to advocate for your loved ones.

The reception help for the 1st floor…they do not want to be bothered. They leave the dinner tray for 5 minutes and if you don’t eat immediately, they remove it so I guess your family has to starve for the remainder of the night. The roof has a giant hole in it. I wouldn’t sent my loved one here again and this wasn’t my decision for my family member either.

I’ve been staying at Webster Manor for about 2 weeks for rehabilitation from knee surgery. The staff that I have encountered are excellent. They are very caring and are there for you when you need them. They treat the patients excellent. They go out of their way with everyone. I recommend the Webster Manor highly. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

Pleasantly surprised, as we had a VERY BAD experience at a facility in Southbridge and I was convinced all nursing homes are hell-holes. This one is not. Yes, they are understaffed, but I found the aides pleasant, no-nonsense and helpful. The food is institutional. Even nursing homes for rich people have lousy food. My husband is in for a UTI and PT and he is comfortable and at ease.

My family was satisfied with the care the staff at Webster Manor gave our Mom during her stay there. Everyone who worked with Mom was caring and friendly and really made her feel comfortable and welcomed. The facility itself was adequate, though somewhat outdated, but the care was good, especially as pertaining to Covid-19 testing and precautions.

Webster Manor Rehab and Health Care Center promises the following:

- “quality care”
- “designed to improve their quality of life”
- “highly trained staff”
- “rooms create an environment that is calming and comfortable”
- “team members will help you every step of the way and will inform you and your family of the progress you are making”
- “for our short term patients rehab therapy services are available on-site as often as needed and as prescribed by your physician for optimal recovery"

Unfortunately, this has not been our experience. None of this has proven to be true. The time that my loved one has spent there has been beyond disappointing after we have entrusted this facility with the care and protection of them.

The nursing staff at Webster Manor is acceptable but the former Activities Director now Administrator is not. His inexperience shows that he does not know how to run a Rehab/Health Care Facility. I have worked in health care for over 35 years and never have I seen such treatment of patients.

My family member is a young adult in for rehab after a life-changing event that has left his lower body paralyzed. He has been at Webster Manor for almost two years and has made very little progress as the result of many services being withheld during the majority of his stay. Specifically delayed medication, and PT/OT which is crucial to his recovery. He has lost a considerable amount of time due to the negligence of the facility and it’s administrator’s direction.

We have spent the past two years making his room as comfortable as possible in accordance with the rules and regulations. Recently, he has been forced to remove nearly all of his furnishings (per the administration) under the claim that they are fire hazards, while other patients continue to have the same accommodations in their rooms, with the explanation that they have been “grandfathered in”. I do not understand how fire hazards, in any legal capacity, can be grandfathered in.

This third-class treatment has exacerbated an already extremely difficult and emotional process. My loved one feels targeted and pressured by the new administration to move out of what is now a hostile environment.

We will continue to navigate this situation as best we can for the safety and comfort of our family member, but I hope this serves as a warning to anyone who may consider entrusting your own loved one to this facility. I strongly urge you to save time and stress and look elsewhere.
