My dad and I booked the flounder and tautog trip and we had a great time. The captain and crew mate tried their best to get us good catches. We weren't so lucky during the first few hours of the trip, trying to catch flounder. We were able to catch 2 during the first 3 hours, the last 3 hours were eventful and we had fun wrangling different fish. My dad and I plan on coming back next year.

First time on the Helen H and we will be back. The crew were absolutely amazing right there when you needed them. Super friendly and funny. Booking my trip for next year.

Highlight was seeing the seal that is there each time the boat comes in.

Great time. Crew is very friendly and helpful. Captain is a real leader and his crew are pros. Only thing I would say is please rethink the smoking allowances on board. We had a group of guys next to us who smoked like 8 blunts in a row…

💢💢Absolutely. The best boat too fish on if you're going offshore. Especially for Multiple days for doormat fluke, tuna.. Etc..
Matt & Crew and the captain. Do an excellent job of taking care of you? Highly recommend. You will thoroughly enjoy fishing with these people

The Helen H. is the go-to boat for doormat fluke fishing. The captain and crew know exactly where to take you for the best catch. Trips sell out quickly, so be sure to book in advance. For those folks fishing Nantucket shoals for the first time, bring medium and heavy rods. I've fished as light as 4oz and heavy as 20oz.

Did 4hr scup and sea bass trip @ 8 AM.

Very surprising how attentive the crew was with a max passenger limit of 40. Looked to be about 20-25 people there…. Everyone caught tons of fish big and small. Personally didn’t come away with many big ones, but someone next to me came away with 15 keepers (7 decent sea bass)

If you’re looking to fish for anything but scup and sea bass, you can definitely bring your own rod and bait and see if you can catch something else. Only one person caught a mini sand shark, but the rest were all scup and sea bass.

In no way were the crew cutting it light on how much bait you could have. You payed for 4 hrs, and every time the boat was stopped you could use as much bait as you could find. We were all given grouped buckets which got refilled if needed.

Great experience, super good price, would come again.

Helen H staff and crew knows how to provide full satisfaction to it's customers. Staff is always on top of it, for example, I got a call because we were going to be late, the mates handled everything fast and easy, rods are included in the price and there is no fuzz about it, I had to get a rig and no problems there, captain Dolan was very nice to show ups the Captain's cabin. Accomodations are far better than most boats out there. Seats are made out of leather with great cushion, and feel free to take a spot for the ride. Bring sandwiches or other food in the boat. My son had a blast fishing and loved the smooth ride.
What can be improved .. perhaps if they have some snacks aboard that would be good and/or water.

The captain put us on the fish right from the get go. I stopped counting the porgy I caught after 40. I also got a 20 inch sea bass. The crew was friendly, helpful and overall a great bunch. It was a great time!!!! I highly recommend them!!!
