I called Captain Eric on the spare of the moment on Sept. 17th and he was able to fit me in the next day. We had a GREAT morning on the water. He knew where to find the Strippers and I caught 2 keepers right away and 11 more Stripers catch and release. One of my best days on the water EVER. THANKS ! YOU ROCK !

Our crew of 3 had a wonderful time with Eric. He was very accomodating and extremely knowledgeable. He is a true fisherman through and through. We started our day catching fresh mackerel for bait. Eric had 40 bait fish in the live well less than 20 minutes after we left shore! We took a short boat ride out into the bay and caught a few 25+ lb bass in the morning. Then we relocated to a spot where we got right into em! I don't think we went more than 10 minutes without a fish on the line for almost 3 hours. Ended the day by cleaning and filleting our fish so we could take them home mess free! We all had a really wonderful time with Eric and will definitely be coming back!

We spent half a day fishing with capitan Eric and had an amazing time! We caught strippers that he fileted and prepared for us.

We saw seals and even tracked a whale for a while.

2024 — Second time with Captain Eric! Terrific trip!! Caught our limit of stripers for 6 people!! We saw a whale, beautiful views of the Ptown lighthouses and so many bites! Fish were literally jumping out of the water to get the lure. Hope to be back next year! Thanks Eric for a great time!

What a great 1/2 day trip with Captain Eric! We caught multiple stripers and bluefish. We had a group of 6 and everyone brought home fish! Lovely views and whales, too. Hope to go out again next summer with Schooney’s.

Schooney is arguably the best fishing captain on the outer Cape. He is awesome! Today we caught tons of striped bass and blues, then saw a Great White shark, and a pod of whales. Really great!

We had a GREAT time! The boat is absolutely spotless and everything was in order. We had an exciting time - caught plenty of fish! A few were so big we couldn’t keep them but reeling them in was a blast.

Outstanding morning of fishing with Eric! 10 fish all together - biggest striper was 35”! 4 bass and 1 blue came home for dinner, and to be smoked / jerky. The rest got to go back! Did an excellent job cleaning and filleting. Provided ice and we popped it into our cooler when we got back to the dock.

But that’s not all ;)! He took us out to a pod of humpback whales and we just hung out with them while they ate, made bubble circles, slapped around and waved their tails. Right next to the boat - whaaa!

And met our first Sun Fish! Wow, such a big oddly shaped creature.

The boat is beautiful, perfect for 4 guests. Clean, bright and a fantastic ride out the way from Truro around the tip of the cape and on to the ocean side of ptown.
