We were greeted by a very kind and helpful ranger! We opted to pay inside and explore the gift shop. What a great experience to see all the souvenirs, educational items, and useful tools for outdoors adventure! The staff inside were just as nice and helpful!! We got a nice map of the park and they gave us advanced warning of some the trails being “difficult “ terrain or what to be aware of when exploring. The items were fairly priced and good quality. We bought a book and a related stuffed animal and they are both excellent quality. The story is educational and engaging.

$7 per person over the age of 13 years.
Parking passes for other parks will unlikely be accepted. Cash only at gate, otherwise parking near gate and paying inside gift shop with card will be required.
As the park ranger will likely warn, the rocks are slippery near the cave. The trail to and from the cave is narrow and mostly rocky and has little shade.
Strongly recommend wearing appropriate shoes and clothing and having at least 32 ounces of water per person. Plan on at least an hour to hike to and from the cave (time will vary depending on how many people are there and if it has recently rained).
Note that there may be people that barge past you running on the trail and it is a very narrow trail.
Also, strongly recommend going when it is well under 100°F outside.

What a beautiful place! It wasn't too bad of a hike but it's totally worth it at the bottom of the waterfall! It's soooo worth it! It's only $7 for admission Free admission for Veterans who live in AZ! Btw the pictures have no justice!!!

Super beautiful! Short walk with lots of stairs. Too much water when we were there so we couldn’t walk underneath but it was still worth it.

Some bathrooms, lots of parking and tables for eating.

Rustic and remarkable! The lodge housing the Visitors Center is beautiful and well kept. The rangers/staff are always helpful. They also have a great selection of gifts from books, magnets, stuffed animals and quite a bit more. Highly recommend ;0)

I thought it was great that they want you to park and walk in to pay, more personable.
Nice people there.
Very Clean.
You need good footware, especially on the parts of the trail that aren't well maintained.

You will have to stop by the visitor center/ gift shop if the entry tollbooth is closed (it may be closed for example on weekdays when it's not as busy). Just come on in to pay your entry fee.
The exterior is clean and neat, and there is a lodging area connected to it too with a BBQ patio grassy turf area outside. There's colorful flowers, and plenty of parking in the back. If you walk past the back parking lot, there's also restrooms with sinks, and there are water fountains.

Inside the visitor center, there are some antique displays such as an old-fashioned piano. For those who like treats, I saw cactus taffy and cactus lollipops. The store also had sodas and waters.
The ranger who manned the checkout was very friendly and kind, and he offered everyone a map and proactively made sure if you had any questions or concerns.
