We were on the second floor, which meant that we had an awkward unloading process: you have to drive to a space around the side, unload, haul your gear along the row of rooms, and then move your vehicle back to the car park in front. We arrived by motorcycle, it was raining hard as it can do on Cape Cod, we were wet and our gear was heavy, so this was quite tiring. We should have paid more to get a ground floor room, where we could park outside. The room was small and it wasn’t cheap, but on the other hand everything else in the area is even more expensive, so in fact that makes it good value. The owner can’t be blamed for the weather.

We had a wonderful staycation at Horizons. We booked two weeks ahead. We booked a unit top floor, end unit, across the street from the majestic beach. Our room was old school wonderful. There are no frills but there is everything one needs for a weekend or week's stay. There are plenty of towels as well. Bring body wash and shampoo. Soap is provided. Check in was seamless. We dropped our keys for check out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Horizons. Everyone is so accommodating and kind. The location is fabulous. We took the shuttle bus to Provincetown which was so easy! The sunset at the bay is beautiful and peaceful. Here are the things that we would change: the air conditioner was very loud so we could not keep it going at night, so we had to open the door for a breeze (we were in the upstairs unit across the street, which has wonderful views) but it go hot at night. When we opened the slider and the curtain for some breeze the lights from across the street come into the room. So unless you don't mind wearing a sleep mask, or lights don't bother you, then you are fine. The stairs would be a challenge if you are not fit for stairs. The kitchen is a little corner unit which works out for breakfast and the frig is just the right size. We made our breakfast there and we packed our sandwiches for lunch Nat'l Shore time. I would not cook dinner in the kitchen though, not enough space. So, all and all, we REALLY did enjoy the space. We are pretty easy to please, don't need fancy. OH, SUPER SUPER CLEAN. And the host, Jim, is the BEST. Enjoy your trip. We would def rent again, but probably on the bay side. Thank you for a great trip!!!!!!

PS: I would like to know what brand sheets they were, they were AMAZING!!!

Great spot on the bay, right on the beach. Rooms are clean and roomy. The bed is firm and comfortable, too. Fifth year in a row, and expect to return next year.

We've stayed at Horizons Beach Resort for a week for several years now and couldn't be happier. Our room was huge, equipped with a full kitchen, a sitting area, deck overlooking Cape Cod Bay, and comfortable beds. There room is quite, Jim the owner is super, and we hate to leave.

Just finished staying for a week, fabulous quiet location. Oceanfront unit was lovely, lots of room and clean. Housekeeping services everyday was great. Close to PTown for excursions. Have only great things to say.

I was very skeptical to stay here because it’s a bit rustic and I always stay in upscale hotels (not motels). BUT… everything was great! It was clean, the staff was nice, and the location across the street from the beach and pool is fantastic. We caught the bus to Provincetown right at the motel, which was also a perk. The TV remote was a little finicky but I didn’t care enough to ask the front desk.||Although the rooms are rustic with a 70s kitchenette and it’s not fancy, it’s a great value for your money in a great location! You can’t beat the bay with gentle waves and an 8 minute drive to Provincetown.

The comfortable “studio apartment” unit was on the second floor of the Terrace Dunes building (across from the private beach and pool). Since that building is built into a small hill, the “luggage drop off” spot at back is level with the second floor. This is great because there are no stairs to have to reach the room with my luggage.|The unit had everything; a fully equipped kitchen area with a table and four chairs, a king size bed and loveseat with a pullout double bed, and sitting area with a flat screen tv and free reliable internet access.|The beach is wonderfully quiet and beautiful with amazing sunsets that you can see from your front balcony. The beach is bayside, so there is no undertow. You can walk for quite a distance in either direction, along the peaceful, shimmering water’s edge. |We took groceries with us, including a cooler with frozen and fresh food. I hate food shopping on vacation. Since you have a full stove and microwave, along with a studio- apartment size fridge, you only have to dine out if you feel like it. There’s a shuttle that stops out front during the warm weather season; and it stops everywhere, including Provincetown center, Stop ‘n Shop food market, and ocean beach areas. You can ask them to let you off at a mid- point area if you wish. |The internet, cooking area and the quiet beach were my top priorities. You can have all the free fancy welcome baskets, chocolates on your pillow, and onsite dining, but I would rather have a bit of “Old Cape Cod”.
