Jaw dropping. I grew up in the Rocky Mountain region, but never visited the Grand Canyon. Having lived on the East Coast for most of the last 40 years, we decided it was time to pay a visit to one of the great wonders of the world.

The park caters to visitors, with free shuttle buses, restroom facilities, maps, etc. We heard accents from all around the world - literally.

The vistas are absolutely stunning. Awe inspiring.... there really aren't words to describe the majesty and magnitude of this place. If you can, GO! It is worth the effort.

I have been to most national parks already and I’d rank this second (1st still gotta go to Yellowstone). I wish I could have spent more time there but the park and view is stunning. Went in Oct and weather is perfect. Highly recommend!

Amazing, extensive and varied views
Well maintained and travelled trail. Enough people to feel safe but not to ruin the experience
Several water stations and bathrooms, as well as a cafe at phantom ranch (the bottom)

Temperature can vary a lot over the day, and time of year. It was freezing at the start of our hike but warmed up to about 70 throughout the day, and then rained later. Overall our conditions were very good and it still ended up being 20 miles of hiking so be prepared for all kinds of weather.

I would definitely recommend hiking as much of it as you can, but worth checking out for however much you are capable

Like a strong acid trip, the Grand Canyon cannot be explained, only experienced. Photos come close, however, honestly, you just need to spend a day driving from viewpoint to viewpoint. Plan your visit so that you enter from the east entrance if you reach the national park before 10. This way the sun will be at your back when driving the rim. If you arrive to the park after 1pm, consider entering from the west entrance so that, again, the sun will be at your back as you toodle along the rim.

The best photos of the Grand Canyon's inner gorge and geology are taken at low light. If you stay in a hotel near or at the canyon you can get the best of the best photos. Same goes for arriving at the west entrance after 4pm and moving along the rim from west to east, culminating your photography at the hour or so before sunset: legendary photos.....

The Grand Canyon National Park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. This means you can enter just for sunrise or sunset and the optimum hours. You just need to get out of bed before sunrise or arrive just a bit before sunset in order to experience the deepest shadows inside the canyon and along the north rim in the distance.

Absolutely love the grand canyon went to South and north rim both were amazing the north had the lodge and cabins.

Love how they had a giant fireplace out side next to the seating area that faces the view.

They had a breakfast buffet and the cabins are good a size for 2.

Picturesque!
So blessed that we were able to be part of the millions who come to experience one of the wonders of the world. The views were breathtaking; looking down you can see how deep the canyon were with its steep side. There is so much beauty with each of its exposed layered of red rock and the jagged cuts from the Colorado River. Hopefully, the pictures can lure you to see its beauty up-close and personal.

Title: A Breathtaking Experience at the Grand Canyon!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visiting the Grand Canyon was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I arrived, I was in awe of the sheer scale and beauty of this natural wonder. The vibrant colors of the rock formations, especially during sunrise and sunset, are truly breathtaking. Each viewpoint offers a unique perspective, and I found myself constantly snapping photos, though none could fully capture the majesty before me.

The hiking trails are well-maintained, with options for all skill levels, allowing you to immerse yourself in the stunning landscape. I highly recommend taking the time to explore the less crowded paths for a more intimate experience.

The park's facilities are excellent, with informative visitor centers and friendly staff eager to share their knowledge. Whether you're an avid hiker, a photography enthusiast, or just looking to relax and take in the views, the Grand Canyon has something for everyone.

Overall, this trip exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re seeking adventure, beauty, and a sense of wonder, the Grand Canyon is a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return!
