Lower level used for intro/overview sessions prior to tours… actual chapel space above

Right in the middle of modern UMass, this tiny, stone-age cathedral stands almost against time. Nice, modern conference rooms, one upstairs and one down , seem almost out of place. Even the chapel bell sounds somewhere else from inside. And the food, as always at UMass, is above expectations.

It's such a beautiful building. In the past, I guess it used to be a chapel, but nowadays, it's a place that you can go to study in peace. It's very modern in the inside. There are many armchairs, tables, high tables, high chairs. It's an icon of UMass Amherst. Pictures of Old Chapel matches perfectly with the library and a clean sky in a sunny day!

The interior of this chapel has been restored to be used as a place for meetings and exhibitions. It has been modernized, so don't expect to see anything resembling a cathedral. The stairway from the first to second floor has been restored and the woodwork is nice. Other than that, the interior is just another building. The exterior is what is worth looking at.

The old chapel is where UMASS campus tours start. The inside is a modern classroom. Other than being central, I’m not sure there are reasons to visit

This is a building inside UMass Amherst. All who is going for college tour has to assemble in this building. It's small hall where around 150 can be seated. Having very nice interior with good digital display. The initial overview session will be given here.

Garage is just few minutes walk away. Opposite to garage an excellent cafeteria is there. You can enjoy awesome food here. Certainly it will impress you. You feel good at the end of your visit.
