We had a great experience in late August taking the trip out to see the whale migration. The ride was not too rough, and seeing the whales was unreal. We were very close and able to see them slap the water with their fins and play in the water. I would recommend taking the boat from Plymouth rather than driving out to Provincetown.

Lindsey was amazing! You can really feel her passion for what she does, and her commentary added so much to our experience. We had such an incredible day seeing 20+ humpback whales, fin whales, dolphins, and seals! This was worth every penny and I would absolutely recommend it just rememberto bring cash! We visited in late may which turned out to be the best time for whales!

My wife and I booked a whale watch with Captain Johns Boats and had a great time!! They are a very ethical company that respects the sea life - we were able to see at least 5-6 humpback whales, including one that was asleep, which was so cool to see, a couple Minke whales, and an ocean sunfish ! It was a beautiful fun ride out on the ocean and the ship was very spacious with plenty of space to sit both inside and out.

Thanks to Thomas for being a great spotter and host to our tour- we will definitely be back!!

I spent a lot of time researching if this was going to be a good use of our limited time in Plymouth and if it would be too long for my 6 year old- it was a true highlight! The Whale Watching tour blew our expectations out of the water. There were SO many sightings of Humpback Whales, several Minke Whales, and dolphins. The naturalist on board was amazing- she provided lots of interesting information and provided clear and accurate directions on where the next whale would surface. Also, there isn't a bad spot on the boat- inside, outside, sides, front, back- you will be able to see. The boat was very comfortable and large, crew was friendly, variety of concessions, family friendly. I would 100% recommend, and with so many Great Whites pushing into the area, you may even get lucky and catch a glimpse! We would definitely do this again.

Great experience! My first whale watch. I was with 2 kids 10 and under. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had to change our date because of weather concerns and it was no issue at all. The kids wandered the boat during the trip out and back and were excited to see the whales. We saw about 20 of them but many of them several times as they would surface. Thanks for a memorable and fun experience. Food was cash only. My youngest says they should have more food options like worms and dirt or brownies 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Great fishing trip. Had a blast. 4 hours was just enough. My son got his first fish ever. And the crew was awesome!! Between stuck rigs and unhooking fish. Nice ride out and seeing a few lighthouses. Thank you all.

We were really looking forward to this tour but had some trepidation about sightings. We could not have been more wrong - WOW! Over an hour and a half watching whales, my head was spinning. I realize these things can’t be guaranteed but this tour really delivered. Also very much appreciated the respect for the whales and the environment. Narrator was very informative.

Unbelievable time on the boat! We saw many humpbacks and a minke whale, dolphins, and a seal.
Very friendly and professional crew. The boat itself was smooth and stable, with food and drinks available too. We left our bag on board and when we went back, they had it waiting for us at the ticket booth. Can't recommend it enough!!
