I haven’t had any claims to speak of, but this agency has always been helpful, knowledgeable, and super responsive with questions I have. I have two properties insured with Arthur D. Calfee and would highly recommend. I primarily deal with Jamie, and she is fantastic!

Edit: Don't use these people. They're horrible. They actually had the nerve to send me a bill for $53. For what? I told them before any payment was due that I was cancelling my policy. I had to call Arbella and complain about this place. They got rid of the bill for me.
I called them on Dec. 2nd to cancel my policy. They have been trying to take money out of my account now for two months when I have other insurance. I filed complaints against them with the BBB and MA consumer affairs. When I called them just now, Luana lied to me and told me that she received paperwork about my new policy yesterday. I just spoke with my new insurance and I know they did not send anything yesterday. This is the only thing I have ever asked Calfee to do for me and they couldn't do it. For months, they kept sending me a survey asking me how they were doing. I finally had to write them a letter asking them to stop sending the survey because they had not done anything for me besides taking payments out of my account. It is near impossible to get someone to answer the phone there. I called one day during business hours and not one person answered any of their TEN extensions. I now have more coverage with Progressive and it's costing me $65 less per month. Calfee is completely incompetent and I would not recommend them to anyone.

While the news about insurance in SE Mass isn't always good, we think we are in good hands! The staff is always available either in office or via phone. The office is a well-oiled machine.

When my home insurance policy was cancelled, Arthur D Calfee agency swung into high gear to find an alternative policy. This was not easy due to my unique property. I was grateful and also impressed by their creativity and speed of service to my family.

Service has always been prompt concerning questions and when I first hooked up with the company they were able to save me money on my home insurance. I did give a referral to a friend and a referral gave one to me in the Chatham area. Questions have been resolved and the staff has been courteous.
