A beautiful park with a trail around the lake. Benches, bathroom, playground and Rim County Museum and Zane Grey Cabin abuts it.

It was the best 4th of July for me in many years! The large park in Payson is superior for family with kids, adult's and all puppies. I would highly recommend your next 4th of July in Payson, AZ.
Also, Payson PD did a great job making us feel safe❣️

Very beautiful park especially to take your dog for a walk. A lot of people fishing or just walking.

First time here. Great park. But pet owners need to pick up there pets poop. Kinda hard to fish along lake with unresponsible dog owners. And sit by shade trees with dog poop everywhere. As if they don't understand there responsibility as a pet owner. I think they need to build a dog bark n not allow pets around lake if they can't keep it clean. Just my opinion. I am a 5 dog n 12 hens owner from Buckeye Az born n raised. And I clean up my pets poop. Grandson had fun and we were able to enjoy the wild creatures n spotted a turtle, water snake and a hawk feasting on the lake diving for fish. Beautiful but keep poop out.

Beautiful park. Had a lovely picnic with the kids, even though it sprinkled.

Currently, 6/24/2022, the public restrooms on the south side are closed. Lets hope they get them updated because they were the only bad thing about the park. The restrooms on the north side are still open. I drive up from Phoenix because I enjoy this park so much! I noticed the Visitors Center is now open so I'll have a chance to visit it. Everyone who walks at the park treats you like a neighbor. I can sit all day just watching the birds of prey catch fish. There's lots of open space and grass for kids. The only issue is the restrooms can be dirty. I can hardly wait until the museum buildings on the east side are open again.

Beautiful park with a path around a lake and lots of trees and birds. Fishing is available although you may have competition with the resident Blue Heron.
