Went here for a wedding. Really beautiful area, massive fan. Location is great staff is awesome.

Reception area was really nice too, well laid out. Food was fantastic, really really good. Especially for wedding food.

Didn't go to the museum itself or anything, so I unfortunately can't offer any feedback there

They had PLENTY of parking. Huge grass field with cones. Huge bonus.

Overall this was a fantastic wedding venue.

However! The US flag was not lit at night, constituting a section 6a violation of the US flag code. (mostly kidding, but light your flags at night everybody)

Beautiful location with so much to do. They have 4 art galleries, 2 are native American, and 1 is a shaker gallery. You can visit the home where Louisa May Alcot was raised. They have a gift shop and serve food with an outside patio overlooking an amazing view. You can enjoy outside concerts and music while you eat. Plus, you can head into the woods on nicely manicured trails on 210 acres of land. If you're a trustee member, it's free. If not, it is a very reasonable $12. It's definitely worth the trip.

I really really wanted to see the shaker house, but the entire museum is built on this incredible slant and there’s just no way I can make it up that hill. If I make it down the hill, there’s no way I can come back up. I wish they would have a go kart or some thing that dropped people off who have walking difficulties.

Or even a handicap spot in front of each place would be amazing! That would solve all my problems. But I only got to go to one place because it was the only place with a handicap spot right out front and that was the year-round exhibit. It was great, but it was sad to come all this way to only see one thing.

I was glad I got to see some thing from the Nipmunk tribe, as I’ve been to deer Island this year and to the memorial for John Elliot in Newton, Massachusetts, I believe that is, and so it’s really great to get to see pure native artifacts. It feels like a very sacred space.

I went in the winter. There are no parking fees, and the hiking trails are well marked and simple. It's not too strenuous. Just as an FYI, don't expect a bathroom if you go in the winter, but it's very nice to walk around. I have no comments regarding the museum because it was closed. It went there to hike only and was pleased in the context of my expectations.

Was a pretty cool museum, has a few buildings a Native American exhibit, a skaker house, a barn and another one. Was a bit weird they close the buildings at 12:30 to 1:30 didn't state that on the website so we only got to see 1 building still pretty cool

We had such a good time here today. The weather was perfect for walking the grounds, the staff were all friendly. We paid the extra $5 for the tour of the Shaker Museum and the Fruitlands Farmhouse, and it was totally worth it. Our guide for the tour, Amy, had so much knowledge to share. She was great!!

Great place to get some history and hiking in. Take a look at the childhood home of Louisa May Alcott and learn a little bit about the utopian movement of the 1840's at the same time. There are also sculpture and hiking trails. The views are amazing too! Need to tire out some young kids? This is the place.

Very misleading name and disappointing experience. The 2 museums they have - an art museum and a Native American museum can NOT have the status of a museum. This is A BIG JOKE. The art museum has 3 rooms with a horrendous smell and about 5-6 contemporaty art objects. That is ALL.
The Native American museum had 2 rooms with 3! paintings, 3! rugs, a few bowls and 1 boat. That is ALL.
Look at my pictures. That is all you will see there.

The rest of that land can be called a farm, but there are no animals or gardens. There are a few hiking trails, but to enter this so-called "museum" you need to pay at least $10 per person. I wouldn't pay it for hiking. I wouldn't pay for anything there. A misleading name, unclear purpose, strange concept, 4! people working... I really would like to understand the purpose of this place and why people would pay to go there.

Add to this a location in the middle of nowhere and gas prices to get there. Worthless waste of time, money, anything you name it. Maybe views? I've seen much better views that do not require fees.
The ONLY thing I liked there were 2 statues of Native Americans. They were very good, however not worth the trip or money they charge.
