Went to the Candlelight Concert featuring the Rasa String Quartet doing Imagine Dragons and Coldplay pieces. Just fantastic and the Greater Boston Stage in Stoneham was a perfect venue.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was so well done. Paul Melendy was hilarious and switches from role to role seamlessly. He improvised beautifully when someone's cell phone went off during the show. I'd see this one again and again. Amazing energy and acting. The staff seating is were also wonderful and thank you for your all-gender bathrooms. We love it!

Besides a great theater company to see professional productions, GBSC is an amazing place for kids age 8-18 to get experience with acting. There are summer camps and productions during the school year. The summer camps are open to all kids while the other productions require auditions and in scoring a role. The teaching staff are professionals and the philosophy is clearly about growing both the actor and the child. Some camps are just about putting on a great show - but GBSC emphasizes techniques, improv, dance, singing and just being supportive of each other. My son loves the community of kids and his teachers/ directors. The plays are all supported by professional technical crews so the productions always run perfectly and well organized. My only serious gripe is that their summer camp Day is not long enough for parents and their extended day program is super expensive for sitting on the floor in a big empty room.

Stoneham is home to a fabulous little theater company. We've been lucky to see some fabulous shows here. It's what live theater is meant to be.
