A peaceful place to explore with kids,so many trails to enjoy, a very rustic play nature perfect for kids to use their imagination. Go in the fall when you can see nature do their thing.

Absolutely stunning property for a walk, hike, or nature watching. As a neighbor, I often pop down to explore the trails, and regularly encounter birds and the property's sheep, who hang out in the barn or paddock or free graze on the meadow, as well as less regularly snakes, deer, turtles, beaver, and porcupine. The folks who run the place do a phenomenal job keeping it pretty and accessible. Highly recommend for anything from short walks to multi-mile perambulations, including linkages to the Mid State Trail and Wachusett Mountain.

Beautiful spot, where you can really feel disconnected from modern life. Great views, nice trails. Only drawback for me is no dogs, even on leash, but it's for a good reason (not to disturb wildlife)!

Wachusett Meadows is a great wildlife sanctuary with a large selection of trails to explore. The two times I have visited here I walked up to the summit of Brown Hill along the northern set of trails. South of the parking lot and visitor center is another set of trails I have yet to experience. The top of Brown Hill has a nice view from the large clearing up there. Otter Pond and the Glacial Boulder are also great features along the northern trails. There is a small fee to hike here unless you are an Audubon member.

It was a beautiful spring like fall day for a hike. Moderate trail, narrow in spots, well marked, and beautiful views. The color was gorgeous.

This is such a hidden gem. I love the trails because they offer some challenge but also great views. Most trails are kid friendly and many are meadows so there are always plenty of flowers and birds to peep.
