Randy is an amazing guide and captain and our time together was incredibly fun. A Group of three of us was visiting Boston. We have no fishing experience but decided to experience in-shore fishing and found Sigler Guide Service online. Randy answered all my questions thoroughly and made booking a smooth process. During the experience, we had an incredibly fun time. He showed us history of Marblehead, taught us how to fish, and set us up to get some huge catches! (Photos below) Randy also took care of our safety, kept the boat clean, and made everything look so easy. What a guy! We love him and highly recommend him to anyone interested to experience fishing here!

Our family had an incredible time out on the water with Randy! My 5 and 9 year old kids remained interested and engaged the whole time, and we're beginners when it comes to fishing! We learned so many new things. My son was so proud of the huge striped bass he caught all by himself. The day on the water with Randy was full of unforgettable memories! Best.Day.Ever! Randy and Faxon were so much fun! We brought our 3 teens and 2 grandparents for an afternoon of fishing and we all caught (catch and release) lots of fish; Striper, Mackerel, Pollock, cod, crabs, lobster, flounder! As with any good fishing trip there’s a story about the big one that got away😆 This is a must do for any visitors to the area. Great fun for all ages. You’ll have a blast, be well taken care of, and have big fish stories to come home with.

Randy is a top tier fly guide. He's been guiding in the waters around the North Shore and Boston for decades and knows the water incredibly. His boat is a perfect set up for inshore fly fishing for striped bass. He has great equipment and knows how to put you on fish. I could go on and on about the wonderful day we had with him recently. If you're looking for a fly guide in the area, look no further! Plus he is one of the kindest people I've met.

My wife and I have made it a tradition to take the kids fishing each year when we go on vacation. We have gone to multiple places across the country at this point. Sigler Guide Service was truly a unique experience. Captain Randy was amazing with the kids and taught them all about the marine life. We explored the coast line, fished for squid and pulled up some lobster traps. By far the best fishing charter we’ve done to date!

Randy & his guides are great. We did private full day fishing trip as Graduation gift for my son and his friends with Sigler Guide Service. We had been out with Randy and with his guides on private day trips before. They are ALL great! I have sent my kids out with the guides solo when they were younger and knew the teenagers would be in good hands. They had a blast! This trip was the 2nd with Pete , and they think he is the coolest being on this planet! They all can't wait to do it again ! Fishing for the live bait is a blast and the Striper they caught was YUMMY ! I think I ate more than anyone ! Randy was great organizing and setting us up with his guide Pete again. Pete was great tailoring the trip to the boys and making it super fun & safe ! Hope to be back in August !

Had a great time fishing with Randy's partner Tony. I had friends visiting me from NJ due to heat wave. It was a short notice. Randy is already booked, so he introduced me to his partner Tony. We went out early in the morning. Spent about 30 minutes catching bait fish. A lot fun when you hooked 5 bait fish as once. After that, Tony brought us to an island. As soon as I cast the line, striper start biting. Within two hours, we landed 11 fish with a few got away. Most of them are under size, but it was so much fun. We were able to land two keepers. Tony is very nice and professional. The way he preserved the fish, the meat was so fresh when we brought it home. After fishing, Tony also brought us to his lobster traps and took two lobster home. It was certainly the best fishing trip for my friend and myself. We will definitely use the service again next year if not sooner.

My son joined Randy last summer for summer camp and then we ended up going back twice more for drop in weekend trips. After his first day he declared it was the best day of his life and after a week on the boat he declared it was the best week of his life. The thought of walking onto a boat with five 10 year old boys sounds daunting to me but those boys were listening to every last thing that the captains said. Every day they got go out with a new captain to experience something new. Even when the fish were not biting, they had stuff to do to keep the kids entertained...pulled crab pots, studied the crabs, played a game of hot potato with a crab, caught bait fish, on and on. I got story after story for the whole hour ride home.

We can't wait to go back next summer. If I could sneak my way onto the boat with them, I would!!
