Today my fiance and I embarked on our first Witch City walking tour in Salem. We were both unsure how it would turn out but can honestly say it was really a fun experience. Our guide Hilary was amazing! She truly has a special knack for really getting you into the amazing history that is Salem. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Salem! Thank you Hilary! The best tour of our trip so far! Our guide Heidi was so knowledgeable and you could tell was passionate about Salem. It is a great intro to all things salem: history, architecture, hocus pocus, ghosts and more. We made stops and a lot of salem landmarks and learned so much along the way in an engaging and interesting tour.

My husband and I attended the History & Hauntings tour on 4/4/25. Henry was our guide and he was so much FUN. We had such a great time. This was our first trip to Salem and we were so grateful for this tour and how knowledgable our guide was. We will definitely book another tour when we come back to Salem since there are so many different options!

I was pleasantly surprised with how much fun it was to go on a Witch City Walking Tour! I was told that it would be a waste of time but honestly, I’m so glad I did. The girl leading our group was funny, informative, and was a true storyteller! My fiancé and I went on the Mysteries and Murders of Salem Guided Night-Time Walking Tour. I loved getting to know more about city landmarks and learning about new ones too; ghost stories and hauntings were so interesting to hear about. Our tour guided shared a couple of personal ghost sighting pictures/videos which was super cool to see. I even got some super cool ghost sightings that I didn’t realize I caught until I looked back at the pictures. 10/10 would take another tour when I go back! PS-definitely bring gloves and bundle up if you go the first week of November, I was pretty cold after about 30 minutes.

We went on the History and Hauntings of Salem tour. Our tour guide Sean was the absolute best! He was incredibly engaging with our large group, he had a vast knowledge of Salem, and he ensured that everyone in our group was listening to safety procedures since October in Salem is such a busy time of year. So if you can try to request a tour with Sean.

We learned so many interesting stories about the area of Salem and some spooky ghost stories. I really loved how the tour ended at the memorial to the victims of the Witch Trials.

It was about $30/person and that was well worth the fun and memories we made on the tour!

The tour was a full two hours walking around the city, so if you have accessibility concerns definitely check with the company first because there were 1000s of people walking around, so it could get tricky with wheelchair needs. This is no fault of Witch City Walking Tours, I just wanted to include that as a note.

We had an incredible experience on the History and Hauntings tour with our guide, Lee. He was not only knowledgeable but also a fantastic storyteller, blending humor with rich historical insights that went far beyond the Salem Witch Trials. Lee kept a perfect pace, allowing us time to take pictures without slowing down the tour’s flow. We came away with a deep appreciation for Salem’s history, thanks to Lee’s engaging and informative style. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Lee as your guide!

What a great tour. We did the hauntings and history tour which gave your the history of Salem, the witch trials and some hauntings. It was a well rounded 2 hour walking tour which gave you a bit of everything
Our guide , Allison, was great! She really knew her stuff and slipped in a few jokes as well. Really enjoyed thus tour.

We went on the History and Hauntings night walking tour tonight with Ryan and had an absolute BLAST! His amazing personality and great knowledge of Salem made it not only super informative but also extremely entertaining. As our first time in Salem we definitely chose the right tour!
