It’s easy to think you might be pulled into a tourist trap, but this was far from it! From start to finish the kids were a part of an immersive experience and they loved it. There was no idle time and the crew kept the kids active and interested the whole time. It also gave you a great view of Oak Bluffs. The crew was very entertaining while being very safe and courteous. Totally worth the money and would 100% recommend!

A perfect excursion for little ones. The Capt and all the crew members were great with kids and really made the experience special. ship is well secured for smaller children and Capt. navigates safely while having fun. We will be doing it again. Recommend getting the pirate pack for a little extra.

We had brought our two older grandchildren on this Pirate Adventure several years ago. So we returned with our four year old grandson. He had a blast and we enjoyed watching him put the treasure map together, firing a water canon at attacking pirate, pulling the treasure chest and getting some treasure and on and on. The crew did a great job entertaining the dozen children for the 90 minute or so adventure. We loved it and will be back with our next grandchild in the future. I highly recommend this for your children ages 4 to 10 I would say.

Another successful, magical pirate adventure for us! Year after year we (Nana, mom, kids 6yrs, 4yrs, 2yrs) voyage with the Oak Bluffs pirates and it never gets old. Fun for the whole family. The kids have been trading booty/treasure since we docked. 10/10 worth doing with your littles.

The experience created by this fantastic crew is nothing short of core memory making status. From the check-in process, to the pre-board hype session to the actual boating experience, this adventure now ranks #1 in our book for fun kid activities. I dare say it’s more fun than Disney thanks to the interactive nature - your kids get involved in fixing the pirate map, saving the ship from enemy pirates thanks to water canons and even procuring their very own treasure. Our kiddos are 6 years old and 22 months, and both had a fantastic time in their own way. Our toddler was a real pro when it came to the pirate lingo! We will - without a doubt - be signing up for this every summer!

Definitely purchase the pirate Pack for your kiddos: comes with a keepsake bandana, eye patch and sword. And plan on tipping the crew - trust me when I say that they are the folks making this as magical as possible for your family and deserve every dollar! I would give Pirate Adventures 50 stars if I could!

Such a fun, immersive, kid-friendly adventure! The captain and his crew were so entertaining and attentive. The kids had such a blast (especially with the water cannons!) They even came home with treasure. Highly recommend!

I wish I could give a rating higher than five stars! What a phenomenal family fun experience. Worth every penny, and there is an opportunity to tip at the end. This crew was so amazing that I made sure to be generous. I’ll try to hit all the highlights, but from booking to docking, this experience was awesome! Booking was easy and communication was excellent leading up to our departure day. Parking wasn’t an issue. We chose to add on the kid pack. That includes a bandanna and a sword. They loved it! The captain and the three members of the crew were in character the entire time. They made it believable, but not scary. They made it exciting and inclusive. Before boarding little pirates get to go to the PIT (pirate in training) area for dress up, face painting, tattoos, etc. We loved that the kiddos all got to stay together- it really made them feel like a crew! Pirate songs, message in a bottle, pirate attack, water cannons and finding treasure - this experience has it all!!! Our boys are age 4 & 6. Almost the minute we got off the ship they asked if we could go back and do it all over again. The highest compliment they could give!!! If you have kids of any age, but definitely ages 12 and younger, this is a MUST DO when on the Vineyard.

I took my 6 year old daughter and one year old son on a Pirate Adventure this afternoon, and it was a blast!! It far exceeded my expectations and my daughter was SO happy! The crew was fantastic with the kids, and they even got the parents involved! This interactive experience was well worth every penny. I highly recommend doing this as a memorable experience while on MV!
