My husband and I, as well as our families, could not possibly recommend KG Events & Design more!!!! Friends and family often commented on how they were shocked at how I wasn't stressed the year leading up to our wedding, or even our wedding weekend itself. And I would have the same answer every time - it's because of KG Events & Design. From the initial planning phases, to the design aspect, the tastings and finishing touches, I was never alone in any part of decision making. I am very indecisive in my nature! I was in constant communication with our lead planner Meg, who always made me feel assured and confident every step of the planning process. If you ask my Mom, out of all of the vendors we hired, KG Events & Design was the best investment, hands down. As mentioned, Meg was our lead planner, but every single team member was equally easy to work with, organized, detail oriented, and extremely professional. In deciding if we would hire KG Events shortly after we got engaged, we had spoken to someone that works in downtown Edgartown, who said: "Everything KG touches turns to Gold". He was spot on.

It is hard to put into words how amazingly talented and extraordinarily special Meghan and the entire KG Events & Design team is! KG Events has been near and dear to my heart for many years, so it is was truly a dream come true having them design and coordinate our special day. The entire team’s work ethic, attention to detail, communication style, vendor selection, and execution is unmatched in the industry, leading to the most perfect wedding weekend we ever could have imagined! Meghan is one of the most compassionate and genuine human beings I have ever had the pleasure of working with! She somehow managed to make the entire daunting planning process feel seamless, fun, and stress-free. Meghan truly became my confidant, sounding board, unofficial therapist, and voice of reason throughout the entire process. I trusted her advice and input at every turn, and was blown away by the end result! Every step of the way, from the moment we got engaged until the minute she cued me to walk down the aisle, Meghan was there by my side to ease my angst and ensure we had the most memorable day of our lives…and it was exactly that!!! Every vision we had for our wedding, Meghan elevated and perfected above our wildest expectations. There was no detail too small or request too large, she just made it happen with such grace and ease. Working with Meghan and the entire KG Events & Design team was truly the honor of a lifetime, and we will be eternally grateful for the magic they helped us create together. We love you!!!

There truly aren’t enough kind words to explain how amazing it was having KG events plan my wedding weekend. Meg and Kristen were so thoughtful and passionate about making our dreams come to life. They kept us on track throughout the process and were so wonderful when we had to reschedule due to Covid. They are such kind people and were so flexible with meeting times. My husband and I are physicians and they worked around our crazy schedules while also being very busy themselves. Everything they do is with the utmost professionalism, class and creativity. My family has absolutely loved working with them for both my brother’s and now my wedding. Clearly I am very grateful for their ability to make my wedding feel incredibly special in ways I didn’t even know were possible💕

Simply Magical!! The team at KG Events & Design exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding day. They turned a Sperry tent into the most beautiful thing we had ever seen! We put our trust in Kristen and it paid off immensely. In addition to having impeccable taste, the whole night went off without a hitch due to the team's attention to detail and meticulous planning. The team has such great connections and communication with island vendors that the whole event ran smoothly and the planning process was enjoyable. Kristen and her team did an amazing job. During the Covid pandemic my triplets turned 17 and my husband and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. We didn't want to go to a restaurant so KG Events took over and created a beautiful evening for us on the beach. The setting was so lovely down to the flowers, lights strung up on the beach and complimentary champagne. She organized a photographer to capture the evening and hired triplets to cater the event... the food was incredible. All the details made the evening spectacular... including the foot lights left to guide us off the beach. KG Events did such a great job we hired them a month later to coordinate a small beach party for some friends arriving by boat for the day. I would definitely hire them again for anything from our little beach party to a gala. Our events where small but they made me feel like they were coordinating a million dollar event for me!

I can not say enough good things about the KG team. We were lucky enough to work with them (specifically Meg and Kristen!) for our wedding in September. From start to finish, these girls truly think of everything and ALWAYS put their clients first. Weddings are hard work, they're so stressful, and there are so many different relationships and family dynamics to navigate. Not only did these girls put me at ease, but they also took 99% of the work off of me and just plain DID IT and did it with a smile. They are insanely organized, detail oriented and just a joy to be around. I would recommend these girls to anyone for any party, event or wedding - or if you need someone to vent/cry to, they’ve also got that one down pat. They allowed me to relax and actually enjoy my wedding, and we will forever be grateful for the magic that they created for our big day. Girls- I love you, and thank you thank you thank you!

I really can't say enough about how amazing it was to work with Kim, Kristen, and the entire KG events team. From start to finish they were professional, creative, and kind! Every idea we had, like making sure pizza was a featured food item, Kim took it and ran with it, coming back to us with amazing & creative ideas. Every expectation I had in my head about what everything would look like was completely surpassed when I saw the tent come together. There were so many personal touches that I had no idea were in the works but I felt really made the day special. From planning to leading up to the wedding, Kim helped me stay so present, really encouraging me to enjoy the weekend! She really thought of everything, when we processed out of the ceremony, there she was with two coupes of champagne 🙂 I cannot imagine our wedding day without this fabulous group of women, in fact almost six months later I am still getting compliments from our guests and that is all due to the work of Kim and the KG events team.
